what brand of bushing did you use?

I replaced my bushings a while back under the car for the shifter and you are right - that rear bushing that mounts to the body is a little difficult, the aftermarket is shaped differently but it does contour to the body. Don't put it in upside down!! 😂 it's tricky exactly as you say, but a little patience will see it through.
