Hey everyone, in today's video, I cutup a used TBSS rear valance, to change it from a single round tip exhaust, to a dual square port exhaust.

Truck looks great. Planning to do the same setup as you, but can’t find that rear valance anywhere…. Only ones for sale are cut poorly…. Any chance that those are still for sale anywhere?

I prefer the SLP sound. The magnaflow wasn't bad either, but it had a little rasp to it that the SLP seemed to eliminate.

Sounds amazing, my man. I generally don't like SLP's for the raspiness but didn't hear much here.

It sounds better after the SLP system to me. The double tips KILL I think it's the best I've seen yet. I like what you've done with your TBSS👍🏿 🔥💣

I've got loudmouth 1s on my Challenger SRT8, and really like street legal performance products. We we're wanting aggressive pipes and looked at corsa extreme as well as borla atack, then decided on the SLPs and are the best bang for the buck

Sounds good I think this would be good for my TBSS not sure about getting the dual tips because I would have to get the valance or modify it yous came out great.

The tail lights are the DEPO LEDs from Amazon, that I had tinted, and the 3rd brake light is an Escalade one(can’t recall the year)

I think it sounds better before I took the muffler off mines and put a non electronic cutout pretty much has straight pipe sound but I also have borla resonator in back with 4inch tip

Sounds great with that SLP. I'm in process of shopping and comparing for my 2008 TBSS. I'm starting with the Kooks Long Tube Headers. Not sure if I want cats or not, dual or single out the back ? Lots of homework to do. Great video thou !

@@walkemdwn4586 I purchased mine new in May of 2008 and have not had any major issues with 64,000 miles on it right now. I've taken it to the track, at times I drive it like I stole it on the street and it has not left me on the side of the road, nor have I had to call AAA. They say, transmission are weak, but mine is still going and I down shift alot for torque. I like the fact that I don't see many around here in Central Florida since moving in 2017.

@Walkemdwn45 As a first car? Well I guess depends on how you drive. I know sometimes younger inexperienced drivers can’t handle V8 vehicles, not to say you can’t, just take it easy till you get used to it and get a good feel for it. Driveline wise, it really depends how the truck has been cared for, some have a bunch of issues especially if modded, and other none, mainly stock. Main issue is the oil pickup being in the front of the pan, so under hard acceleration the oil goes to the back of the pan and causes oil starvation. There are several remedies out there for this. Transmission is usually fine, until you start putting a lot of power into it. Just do your research and you should be fine.

I got thr slp exhaust also. What tip in diameter did you get? Inlet 2.5 to dual 4 inch tips

A true dual with a x pipe would be the best thing. In my case the shop didn’t want to do a custom setup for it. Supposedly Stainless Works has a full true dual setup, but I don’t know for sure.

It’s got better as it’s broken in. I had a magnaflow 12259 muffler and resonator delete.

Im sure it does with the dual outlet. Did doing the resornator delete cause alot of interior drone noise?

Ima have to try that out. Right now i have a slp bullet 2 in place of resornator and muffler delete. It sounds alright but i like how it rumbles with the magnaflow.

The bumper or the valance? The bumper is a factory TBSS bumper. The valance is a modified factory valance. See the previous video to this one.

Geeds' Garage I seen the custom rear Valance you made its SICK! I was talking about the piece that sits on top of the rear bumper. I guess it would be for slip prevention. It has the SS in the center of the lines.
