I built a DIY catch can for my Deleted 08/6.4 F350 super duty. Anyone who has had a 6.4 diesel knows the amount of Blow-by they produce. So my catch can is 4" PVC consisting of an end cap and a clean-out coupler with screw in PVC cleanout. 1" ID 90% inlet turned facing down. With 4.5" X 1/2 PVC tube with as many 1/4" drilled holes as possible. To distribute oil and vapor gases throughout the can. I placed a 1.5" spacer at the bottom🎉 then a 4" plate with 1/4" baffle holes to create a reservoir to hold the liquified CCV then packed the rest of the can with SS wool pot scrubbers for me it was 3 to fill the can up to the 1" OD coupler exit. This gives plenty of sufficient area to catch CCV particulats before the CCV air exits the can. Making an efficient filter to collect particles and vent to the atmosphere. I refuse to contaminate my highly metered air-fuel ratio. The can can be easily drained at normal oil and filter changes with the 3/8 check valve in the end cap on the bottom of the can. Or more often if required.

got the same problem on my 15. ccv leaking a little oil. will have to look into the SPE one because i felt the same way with mine, couldn't get it tight enough and was told not to put any pipe dope or teflon on it. thanks for the video Colt
