I installed and it still works but has lots of issues bros. The AC will be the first and foremost concern. It will be DEFINITELY Screwed. So stick with your stock 7 inch unit. The stock system AC will give u peace of mind when driving... But this Hypersonic(originally manufactured by Chinese collab company called Laxo Orbis in Hyderabad) unit will only add to your stress when driving. AC becomes either too tooo cold at 18 or 19 degrees and if u increase to 20 or 21, it is still cold. 22 is somewhat okay. That too not for long. And slightly higher setting at 22.5, you are going to feel only heat. Also when vehicle auto stop on/off happens, even 22 will be only blow and no AC from 1st and 2nd row vents. But some strange thing, AC will be cold(like stock version) only in the rear(3rd row) vents. You will have only blow and no cooling from the AC anything above 22.5 in the front and 2nd row vents but 3rd row vents alone work equal to stock. But if I think back now, in the stock unit even 22 to 23 was comfortably cool and 24 to 25 can be used during non summer days or at night and all this at ECON mode and uniform colling in the 3rd row and other vents. But this unit doesn't have ECON mode(always runs at full compressor. So mileage takes a 3 to 4 KMPL hit) and has cooling issues after engine start/stop. Very strange BUT this happens. And next is reverse cam issues where image keeps scrolling up and down(during a tight situation when u reverse you are definitely doomed) , the unit has lag issues in the display for all apps and especially Google maps will start reacting literally 5 mins after pressing the start route button(you will reach ur dest by then almost). Also 70% of play store apps including AMAZON prime or all ott apps doesn't support as this is a rooted android system even though this is marketed as Android unit. Also during peak sun or daytime, the display is all glare only(brightness definitely not enough) and has lots of other software glitches as well. The stock unit will make ur life easier. If you need Android experience and some fun, try to root your android phone and use some root app like AA Mirror to run in your XUV's stock unit for some fun. This way your life is stress free on the 7inch display itself. With this 12 inch display u get only added stress and money waste. Or get a good android tab and fix it in ur car. Most important pain point is that this company which manufactures these units are closed forever now and you will have no software update or anything if you buy these units. FYI... the Android version it runs now in the year 2020-21 is Android 6.0....Awful isn't it? So don't waste money on this closed company.
