Installing the Dasaita Vivid 11 Headunit for 2005-2015 Tacoma 2nd Gen

A quick video of how I was able to install the Dasaita Vivid 11 headunit using the factory mounting brackets. This is just a guide on how I was able to do this on my 2015 Tacoma stock entune without JBL. So note, this may be different depending on your year Tacoma.

Oh my look at those wires. Screen looks totally awesome. My 2010 sprts trim certainly looks notin like sports when it has a 20 yr old headunit.

Have the same unit and ran into the same issue with the bezel. Any idea why they don't have an adapter for this? Also how did you solve the lack of brackets at the bottom of the overall bezel? The top has brackets but not the bottom. So I can just lift the whole unit up at the bottom.

Nice Tacoma… I have a 2010 Tacoma and I’m looking to do this but my main concern is at night how will it know to dim itself like the newer vehicles with a screen

Thank you! I plan to cover that in a later review video. As of right now it does dim slightly when the lights are turned on. However, I run the unit in dark mode at all times. Follow along and stay tuned!

What kind of phone bracket do you have there, and how does it attach to the side of the vent?

It is an Offroam phone mount. It attaches to the bezel around the a/c vent. Can find a little more detail on my IG.

Thank you! Its on King Shocks 2.5 coilovers in the front with smoothie in the rear. Leaf pack is Icon RXT multi-rate. Its lifted around 2' or so.
