The FU-2 kicks major ass. I love the fullness of the tone of it. No need to plug it into a dirty side of the amp, just plug it into the clean side and it does the job. Couple it with the Dark Master, Stoner Doom heaven.

Peppers fuzz is probably a tad more gainy, but the FU-2 has a lil better note clarity. They are both cool and very useful. Its a toss up. The Wizzzzarrrddd.......

I have a couple of FZ-2 style pedals and this one is probably my favorite. I only wish it was a little bit more pedalboard friendly in size

Damn this thing has an almost apocalyptic heaviness to it that I've been searching for in a fuzz pedal to kick on for certain parts, awesome demo! What are your other favorite Hyperfuzz variants?

I think this would be great for certain parts like that . I definitely would put this in my top along with humongous fuzz , Sabbathi and the Saturine .

Great hyper fuzz take, also among my favorites. I still give the spot on my board to the Sabbathi, because let’s face it if I am using this kind of fuzz I really just need to one knob and can save the space.

Pretty cool FZ-2 type thing. These days I prefer to run a tentacle into a choice if different fuzzes for more flexibility though.

Sick demo. Between Fuzzlord and DiD there’s almost too many different flavors of doomy fuzz to choose from. Octave fuzz sounds too harsh to my ear a lot of the time, but Fuzzlord nailed it with this one.

I’m in my early 40’s and just starting to learn guitar…I never knew about doom/stoner/sludge . Everything always seemed about how fast and complex one could play that it intimidated me to even pick up a guitar. But doom/stoner/etc has that wall of sound that pushes a feeling was like “what the phk was that?!” I’m so stoke to learn Also what’s some good place to find tabs??

The thing I like about fuzzlord pedals is they seem like one trick ponies but they are like orange amps looks can be deceiving you can manipulate orange amps and fuzzlord pedals to create any sound you want from blues or Chet Atkins to hateful grind

Of course! If your playing with quality pedals, you can get all kind of different tones. All you gotta do is turn the gain way down until you reach bluesville. No one says you gotta run them with the gain maxed out. You probably wouldn't need to ever turn it up past 12:00 at the most.That is unless your a doom metal rivet head, fuzz freak, like me and some others I know and see here on da tube! Lol.Stay heavy yo.......

Peal sounds great. A little disappointed that this pedal omits the additional modes found on the FZ-2. I totally understand why, as the Electric Wizard/Monolord tone is probably how most people are going to use this pedal but the more mid forward setting on the FZ-2 is instant Fu Manchu. I have the Guptech Foazz and have been impressed by how close it is to the FZ-2.

I’m still glad I have an original fz-2 back before the internet caught on to it or Electric Wizard. Everyone talks about fuzz 2 mode but they overlook the gain boost mode, I talked to Justin Oborn before and he said most of Electric Wizard was actually using the gain boost mode and his JCM 800 dimed. He used Fuzz 2 for Dopethrone and a few songs here and there but Gain Boost brought the most magic. Kinda dumb this pedal and a lot others are only fuzz 2 mode. Alot also don’t get the treble freq quite right.

@@FuzzedDronespeople forget that a lot of these companies are one person operations too and shit like parts and what not are more expensive now than ever. 200 bucks for a killer pedal is not that bad.
