I wonder how this would sound with an already overdriven amp?
@MetalheadOv66618 сағат бұрын
The DTF is an amazing pedal and perfect for the 2000s post hardcore type stuff imo. I don’t play that kind of music anymore but this makes me want to again. Doubt it’ll be good for super low tuned deathcore, beat down, and thall type stuff that I play but might give some cool tones. Edit - It’s a really cool sounding pedal but not a $365 sounding pedal at all! Thanks for the demo of it tho

Is this tone all coming from just the pedal going into a clean amp?

I think for me the Matamp gt1 (the white amp) sounds the best. Also I like to look at which amp I can afford/get. The sunn is around 5k to buy, so no, the orange or120 reissue is around 3-4k, but the Matamps are affordable. I love the gt1 and I can't wait to receive mine. All great amps though!

The original release of PWR from Mountain King was bad ass. The one that had art by David McKie was one of the coolest looking pedals. I enjoy when pedal makers provide insights on how to dial the pedal in more to your liking so that was cool to see you talk about. That ZeroFret sounded rad and classic. Editing to say the Blue Collander was probably my favorite. Especially for drone and big chords.

The Mountain King I know is the Megalith. It does that huge big fuzz thing really well, and can be the “Muff for people who don’t like Muffs.” But the low gain and clean-up stuff is also, really, really good. I need to get my hands on one again.
