However, it doesn't have to be Coco López brand, it can be any cream of coconut you can find. Coconut cream is thick and sweet, while coconut milk is neither. Hope that helps. Well, if you've been doing it for years, then how is it spoiling it? Or you're not doing the full hack, and just adding in the other ingredients? Have you never had real homestyle mash with pieces of potato in it? If you want all creamy mash, then instant is the way to go lol Thanks for your comment and opinion.

We've since had them in other restaurants the same way. Sounds like you know how to make good mash, and you might actually like the little bites of potato in there.
