Brian Scalabrine and Eddie House join Amina Smith to offer instant reaction following the Boston Celtics' 102-100 loss to the Denver Nuggets. Boston was held to two points in the final 4:50 of the game, including Jayson Tatum's last-second shot attempt to tie the game. Now you see why Jokic is levels above everyone else in the league .Guy makes everyone on the court better and can take over scoring when he feels like it. The Celtics have good players but they have no clue how to win a close game yet I guess. Have they made a go ahead or game tying shot on the last possession this year yet?

Joe doesn’t draw plays to get an easy basket. He draws plays to just get the ball to Tatum, and then there’s no further plan. He just jacks up a contested shot. It’s poor planning every time. My 6 year old nephew can draw that up No idea why brad didn’t hire nurse

We won’t miss 30 3s and Murray/Jokic won’t shoot 80 % regularly. If that’s what it took for Denver to beat us by 2 we will be fine. Learn from the loss and be better prepared next time. Shut one of them down and we should be good. Nice home win streak. Too bad it ended but great streak.

Murray/Jokic do this in playoffs, they also know how to win grimy (like the Heat). As for your copium, the rest of their team wasn't very good and they shot poorly for three. Imagine how they look when that happens.

There was a stat where Tatum is in the top 5 of that dribble dribble dribble contested 3 but the rest of the top 5 hit that in the high 30s% and Tatum is right around 30% (ie he sucks at that shot stop taking it.)

I didn't see the C's taking the ball to the hoop against Jokic. I think they were afraid of his shot blocking. Meanwhile, he was very effectively offensively. Didn't see Porzingis doing much against him either.

Think about this: only 2 turnovers and we outscore them by 24 from 3 and still lose!!!! Soft defense and worse yet, THIS TEAM CANT CLOSE. It’s the exact reason we lose to Miami and why The nuggets won the ring! They can close and our “Superstars” CANT 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Kind of an ugly game. Crazy shot making from Murry/Jokic. Celtics decision making down the stretch HAS to be better. Before the final play I said "If this is an iso fadeaway..." of course sure enough. I only hope the Cs learn from this game and use it as fuel moving forward. Also, I'm not blaming the loss on the officiating, but I have to say, some genuinely suspect calls tonight. The Tatum tech. The KP "over the back", and then Gordon has a stiff-arm on him for the Nuggets rebound down the other end... consistency is all we ask for as fans.

Facts. The officials did what they've been doing all season to many teams in the league. It took A combine 65+ from the Two best players on the def chaps team to bring us down. We barely got in the upper 20's for our best players and that's why we lost plain and simple.

As a person who has bled green since 97, we deserved to lose this game. If JT cannot carry us during these critical moments, he will fail us again in the Finals. Good on Porzi and DWhite for keeping us in this game with Timely blocks From Al but once Again, if The Jays can't carry us through these difficult times....we will not win the chip. Also side note (Joe needs to think of better plays involving Porzi) Side side note (Where was Jrue during this game when we needed him the most?)

Coach Joe Mazulla, GM Brad Stevens and The Analytics Department, better look at this game, and learn how effective, Playing Inside instead of Shooting 3’s, can be. At the start of the game, Krispas was scoring inside. But, The Celtics went back to Shooting 3’s, while The Nuggets kept scoring inside. The Boston Celtics have time to fix this, but They better start Changing Their Approach NOW!

Joe Mazzulla is and will continue to be this teams weakest link. Brad built a wagon but made a massive misstep in retaining Joe as the HC… it’s sad to say but his decision will be the downfall of this team if they don’t win it all… He isn’t ready to lead a team of this caliber and will easily get out coached and out schemed come playoffs against more experienced coaches…

100%. I have NO IDEA why Brad didn’t hire Nick Nurse when he was available. Brad is smart, but he’s always a little behind the ball. Marcus should’ve been gone a few years ago. Now he has the talent and team, but he’s resistant to have a different coach. For some reason he waits to learn the hard way. Hopefully Joe makes it through, but coaches like Spo and GSW will run circles around him.

Celtics losing because they missed wide open threes I can live with. But Joe should have a field day with the 3rd quarter, 5 minutes of guys straight up being out of place on defense. Losing at home isn’t cool either. All around good job this year defending home court, but when they lost the bill russel trophy at home that was a disgrace. Let’s not repeat that, go Celtics.
