One day this beautiful camera showed up, so I decided to ask strangers for photos and capture their happy faces as they watch the photos develop. Fuji had given us a modern retro way of taking instant photos with a digital twist. An economic way to preview the digital photo before committing to a print. I seriously think that the Fujifilm Instax Mini Evo is the best hybrid camera on the market.

Hey! I really appreciate this video, even two years later no one, or rarely anyone has given an actual tour or walk through what the settings is like in the Instax Mini Evo camera! I find this so helpful when trying to achieve the best outcomes of the photos! Thanks!

Have to say that this is on my wish list. Combines old school vintage Polaroid and film camera, retro digital camera and modern day smart phone editing and storing in one package. Gives me all then nostalgic feelings.

Now i know how to find out the balance of film i have. Thanks! Love the outdoor shoot. This camera came at the right time for me, as with the pandemic n all, it is aptly to reconnect with people face to face. Yes it has brought a lot of smiles to those whose pictures were taken. Such a joy!

So far this was the best review I saw of Instax Evo, it is launching in April in India and I'm so excited. Which one would you suggest between these two- Lipplay or Evo? i wanted to buy a hybrid camera in square or wide print, but I don't think that's available in India at this moment :( thanks for this video tho, absolutely loved it :)

Wow your kind comments means so much to me! I don't have experience with Lipplay, but I am kinda biased on team Fuji lol. You also need to consider the cost of film as well and ease to get those films also! I wonder if you can get one on eBay and be some of the first people to review the instax evo in India!!!!

Hey I’ve got a question! I was interested in this as a beginner, but tbh I’m not crazy about the Polaroid feature. Are there any other digital cameras that you’re aware of that will shoot with that same like film/retro/ lowery quality vibe but not have the printing stuff? I wanted a similar camera for like selfies and vacations with unique images but I feel like the printing features is not something I’d pay more for. Anything under like 4-500?

Yea it will but only at like 4mp. I would look at pentax q for old fun cameras, that is what I am into lately. Old low mega pixel camera is making a comeback. Oh u might like fuji xpro 1 also

Can you re-connect a phone you accidentally deleted in the 'Delete Pairing Reg' selection? I am struggling to connect my phone again. I have tried restarting both my phone and camera, updated my phones software, and deleted and redownloaded the instax evo app.

Honestly I use a cheap 32gb SanDisk SD card because it's cheap and fast. Since it shoots max 4.5mp lol 32gb goes a long way!

Ok my friend here we go. 1. Exposure -2/3 stop 2. White balance auto 3. Film Normal 4. Lens either Normal or Vignette 5. Flash off (unless you shooting against the sun or indoor) That's all I did 😀

Yes and no. It's a coldshoe adapter with no electronics so you won't be able to use electronic triggers for off cam.flash. you can do off cam flash if the flash has slave flash function triggers by the evo's built in flash. Hope this helps!

Is easy man turn on the camera, and then hit the right button on the cross pad and the first thing you will see is flash, and then select suppressed flash. Hit OK and you’re good to go

@@ToasterVentura i would like this so much that I really considered it but I made that promise and will have to wait for the next version. Fuji just came out with the insta square printer and that now has USB-C so I'm confident with the popularity of this EVO format that we will see a more expensive pro version or after some time a V2 with included USBC. I'm very onboard with one cord to rule them all.

Me too! My Tesla is all USB c, so is my galaxy zfold 3 and GoPro. We need the world on USBC
