Insulate Britain activist Liam Norton has compared talkRADIO TV’s Cristo to someone who appeased Adolf Hitler.
During a debate on the need to insulate Britain’s homes to tackle climate change, Cristo compared the UK’s record in reducing carbon emissions with the rest of the world.
“We’re already doing brilliantly with our CO2 emissions, he said. “It’s a bit pointless because you’re not going to change the world’s emissions doing this.”
Liam replied: “In the 30s people were saying similar things about Hitler. They were called appeasers because people said Hitler was not a threat at the time.
“You’re suggesting the UK should not reduce its carbon emissions. People that take that position will be seen as cowards and traitors in a few decades.”
