To be fair with the confusion over Withered Animatronics, Phone Guy DID say to mask against them and that the mask would only NOT work on Foxy because he was extra twitchy. So in this one they did explain it. Although I think the mods in chat were being a bit purge happy when people were saying you were too slow at masking against them; that's not a spoiler, you were right in your action, but getting confused because of how tight the timing was.

Oh so it's looks like a series of all the FNAF games, i am always excited for more :D

Applause for Insym. As a kid I learned how to beat this game by first watching play throughs and then playing over a period of around 2 weeks. This dude beats it in 3 hours before he even began to remember that bonny was a bunny. Amazing what a guy with such great mental aptitude can do. Having a golden personality really just puts the cherry on top!

2:31:14 That's really impressive he managed to keep the Puppet contained for the entire game, only finally meeting it on Night 6. Even more that he didn't get a chance to find out that the Puppet ignores both the mask and flashlight; there is no defense from it. 2:35:00 Not sure if Insym realized that when you stop being able to move in that minigame, it had become a cutscene, and you're supposed to keep watching what was happening with the Purple Man and the Crying Child. (Oh the juicy lore)

I bet atleast most of us can agree that Insym has the huge potential of creating tactics in a short time of learning and speedrunning pretty much any game. He just figures it all well, even when he needs chat a little to help him out.

It still baffles me how old this franchise is. Mark made his first video 7 years ago. I’ve waited so long to see Insym play this!!

I think you’ll really enjoy the challenge “Ultimate Custom Night” poses. It is one of the latest FNaF games and it’s free on steam. It’s basically almost all of the animatronics (50) from almost all of the games that you can set to a difficulty of your choosing, meaning the ultimate challenge being 50/20 mode (50 being all the animatronics and 20 being the max difficulty) and you can master all of the animatronics and their mechanics on their own. I think you’ll really enjoy it and who knows maybe you’ll be able to beat 50/20! (Little fun fact; Scott Cawthon the dev, said that he thought 50/20 mode was impossible and that it would never or almost never be beaten, now a few years after release someone has beating it while have 71% power left at the end)

Many find this to be their favorite game of the series. Glad to see you try it out! It certainly is a difficult one. It induces pear panic as you try to control like 13 enemies at once. Now yes, many like it the most because of nostalgia reasons and lore implications, but still.

Protip: Vent cams are actually useless in this game. Same goes for any other cams except for music box. In fact the only reason us tryhards ever use cams is to wind up the music box. Also if you spam hallway flashlight from night 6, you can be caught by Golden Freddy. My own rotation is usually: left vent light > flashlight > right vent light > music box > mask > unmask > repeat and it worked in full 20

honestly love how insym went about learning the mechanics from asking chat, however it couldve been avoided if he heard phone guy mentioned to use the mask for the old guys 😂 love this gameplay though, the insym fnaf series is so fun to watch!

I'm loving watching you go through these games! I'm too old for this to have been my childhood but I do have very fond memories of waiting for each installment to come out and joining the community in sussing out the lore lol. Fnaf 2 is absolutely insane, definitely the hardest game in the franchise, not counting the ultimate custom night. Although 4 will definitely be the most confusing, it's like trying to figure out Freddy in fnaf 1 but with barely audible sound cues.

A lot of the mechanics and specifics for animatronics are literally said by phone guy. He specifically said that the mask doesn’t work for 1 of the withered. So the game does tell you it’s just your job to listen to phone guy. Just telling you cause if you play fnaf3 it can help then too.

FNAF 2 is by far my favorite of the entire series. It addes so much from the 1st one without being excessive which it eventually started to be later in the series. Still the only one i have beaten

Hi again lol Also want to note that the purpose of the music box is to keep you opening the cam, not the keep you from spamming it. It's the ONLY reason you actually have to open the cam. You can do everything else with ears and visuals. Actually, if you didn't have to open the cam to wind, some animatronics would never be able to enter attack state.
