@@jgyrwa wet baths are showers with pooping chairs in them. Might as well. Im a kinda like if theres an easy solution that makes life better, why not. Women are annoying af about bathrooms. Even if you have aeperate restrooms they like to nag about it. This stays cleaner than hers with the right moisture control.

That would be correct, and I totally forgot to mention that in the video! There is a smaller post that replaces the tall one that is the corresponding height. The post gives you support in the middle of the table too!

Does the table swivel? I saw another model by Terra where the table swiveled for easy in/out of the dinette. Also - manual stabilizers 👎👎

​@@PaulTenenbaum there are a few well made campers, many of which are not made or sold in America. Generally the campers made for extreme off road exploring are in that category. The junk RVs are all made the same way with the same kind of materials and assembly methods. The key here is fast assembly with high volume production. If they are rolling multiple units off the line daily, they are going to be falling apart in use as fast as they are put together. I'm hesitant to say price is the deciding factor because in many cases it's not. High price doesn't automatically mean quality or durability. Having said this I can tell you a feature rich RV with a bargain price isn't worth even looking at. BTW most RV manufacturers will tell you up front their products aren't made to live in full time. That means not even 6 or 4 months out of the year. A quality RV is built like a boat. Boats are made to take a pounding daily and not fall apart. Boats are expensive. People say a travel trailer that's 20' long isn't worth $95K, but people spend that much on a runabout or ski boat or fiberglass bass boat every day without blinking. Here's a few keys to keep in mind. If it has slides, don't buy it. Here's another, if it doesn't have a cargo capacity at least 25% of the dry weight of the completed rig, don't buy it. Electrical systems are very deficient in most RVs, be critical of assembly methods for electrical systems. If you can't verify this, walk away. Anything without a fully enclosed plumbing system is not worth looking at. Your house has zero exposed water lines and tanks. Your camper shouldn't either. Laminated exteriors are prone to delamination, watch out. Thermopane windows are a must. But most of all it's about the attention to quality and details in construction. If it takes less than month or two in the building process, you should probably look elsewhere. Now this is where price comes in. You can't sell an RV that takes skilled people weeks to build for a bargain price. Add in high end appliances and systems and the price is even higher. Make it so it doesn't fall apart with every chuck hole and the price continues up. Brands we considered: Oliver, Roamer 1, XploreRV are three very well made travel trailers. Big Foot was also in the running. I would say Airstream, but they are fast build and are very prone to leaks. They have a lot of wood in them that rots when it gets wet and is very expensive to fix. They also require a lot of expensive regular maintenance. My first criteria is whether or not the company will allow you to visit the factory and tour the construction process. If they don't allow this, they get scratched off my list. If they want you to work through a dealership and not have any connection to the build process they are hiding the things they don't want you to know about, end of story. Key, if you are having to learn about a particular brand from a representative at a dealership, don't waste your time. Every sentence from their mouths contain false information or misleading statements. Get all you information from the factory or move on. Lastly a good travel trailer or fifth wheel is going to have a very good resale value and high demand used. If the value drops significantly a year after you buy it, you bought junk. Good RVs are built one at a time by skilled craftsman and sales volume is secondary to the company business model. You see where I'm going. It's a custom crafted vessel that will last for years if not decades no matter how you use it. If this isn't what you are looking for, than just buy the camper that meets your price point and call it a wash.

@@jgyrwa I guess the caveat here is that this is a dealership channel and a salesman presenting. When the typical RV salesman is talking you are getting about 20% good usable information. They try to bull you over with the glitz, bells and whistles. And in this case a flashy looking style that is suppose to say "high quality" and "modern design". All I can say is eyes wide open potential buyers.

I agree, seamless windows should be standard by 2023, the seams will dry rot and cause black spots after heavy rains onto the camper. It’s outdated.

Hello! While not being designed for winter camping it does keep the water lines above the frame and enclosed within it. Much depends on where you are spending the winter, if you are going to skirt it and take the necessary precautions to insulate it. Generally speaking even the "4-Season" rated campers are going to need additional help to keep the water lines from freezing. There are a million opinions on winter camping, if you live in a colder part of the country then we recommend taking the additional steps to protect the camper.

If you arent boondocking all the time or most of the time, this is a non starter argument. Get a pistol and learn to shoot and dont leave home without it. If someone wants you outside bad enough they will find a way to make it happen. But if you must you will want a b or c class motorhome.

As a single woman who lived in a Class C RV for several months and who drove across country, I can speak from experience. When your RV is parked, it's your home. You generally have it hooked up. Switching from home to travel is both a mental and physical switch. You have to disconnect yourself and pack up all the outside stuff, make sure the steps retracted, any slides or awning in, etc. I prefer all-in-ones but when your RV is parked, you don't want to disturb it. How do you get to the store, or anywhere, really? Unless you're towing a vehicle, or you're happy with a bike, it's hard to get around. It's always a trade-off. Next time I'm going with a lightweight tiny camper that my car can tow. No easy feat there, either, and a lot less room, but I'm simplifying, away from a life of ease in something like this to a little thing you sleep in.

So let me clarify what i mean here. Someone hit around this but i want to add some detail. 1. If you are boondocking with a entry level toid level b or c or even an a, this may be an option though not optimal. If you are boondocking such that all you have to do is turn the key and go, then you still shouldnt do that. You should be doing a pretrip everytime you are about to roll. Just getting up and into the drivers seat is not good. 1. Getting up and out wakes you up and refamiliarizes you with the area you are about to move a large object through. It also allows you to make sure you left things the way you think you did. Or that someone didnt change something like something under your tire accidentally or on purpose. Maybe you forgot to unplug and unhook. Maybe you have a flat. Maybe etc.... pretrip. If pretrips are too scary for you, then dont go on the road. You will damage or ruin your purchase, and possibly hurt your self or someone else and of their property. Get a security system for the inside and outside of the rig. Learn to use it. Get a gun or whatever level of defense you are comfortable. Get a largish dog well suited to rv living. Security cameras on the outsids to allow you to see what is outside before going outside. But your idea of just hopping in an going is flawed and ultimately probably dangerous for you. Even with fault detection such as the engine wont start with the slide out or the steps down or utilities hooked up, you should be doing a pretrip because if you forget something then you are defaulting back to having to get out of the rig. Just saying you might want to rethink this. I understand the concept. But imagine that you had to chock the wheels for whatever reason, and you try to drive over them. Or do drive over them. Just trying to help them.

The Palomino Pause sells anywhere from $100k for the smallest model, all the way up to $140k. We have the Terra Magnolia priced at $59k, so the Pause is for sure quite a beautiful unit, but does come with a very steep price. And yes, it gives you some decent privacy. Thank you for your comment!
