Hi man glad this car is getting a second life! I'm actually friends with last owner who did the tuck and sharpie the engine bay, I actually drew something myself in there. he actually got the engine rebuilt at one point then sold it with barely any km on the rebuild till the next owner crashed it, then donavon saved it. Good save

It’s about to be summer real soon man. Hopefully we can see an update on this car. I’ve been excited watching these vids tbh.

I was really hoping to have the car back from storage by now, but unfortunately I have no where to put it right now. There will be more videos at some point this summer!

That oil psi at idle should be around 40psi
@d.fry3793 жыл бұрын
Good to know, thanks! The oil pressure gauge was for sure not working
@PolishedMobileDetailing5033 жыл бұрын
10 psi is fine for hot idle. Cold should be at like 80+

I painted my 99 gsr 4 door myself. Alot of work. Cant pay for experience. With that being said. I recommend u get it professionally painted. Im happy with the results but not totally satisfied. Prep work. Paint then cut and polish the paint. Pay the pros to do it. I end up spending just as much as it would cost to have it done by a pro. But its your car. Do as you like.

I appreciate the input! I can't afford to have it professionally done start to finish, but I do have friends in autobody so there might be mix of diy and professional work

Just watched a bunch of the videos with high hopes.... buddy some of the half assed repairs are making this thing worse. I want to encourage builds like this but you NEED to do things right. The brake lines are sketch and the floor pan rust repair made me cry. A word of advice, Honda/Acura OEM parts are your best friend. Many of them are still available new and they are not too expensive for what you needed.
