The "Roll Index" is the "Sky Pointer" and ALWAYS points to the SKY. Thinking of it as a roll index can get you confessed and has caused at least one Airbus crash (Tamron 371). As shown (2:19), it is on the right of the roll scale (Yellow triangle) giving the illusion of a right bank, but the aircraft is actually banked to the LEFT.

Hi, thank you for all this work of uploading this CBT. I used to be able to install this on windows xp and vista but never could after windows 8 or 10, it has compatibility issues with the new internet explorer versions. Did you find any walk around this issue to make it work with windows 10? I really miss doing this courses via the actual program. Thank you!

You are welcome. You may try : run as win 7 or 8. Try it and tell me the result

How is this instrument different from the PFD ?

This one gets the information from the Standby components (stby pitot probe, stby static probe, stby aoa sensor) unlike primary or secondary components that Captain or F/O gets.

It is the backup unit. It is probably better than most GA light aircraft attitude indicator. PFD is bigger and has a few more functions.
