Remember guys, 13400F and 14400F offer the same performance. So if you find 13400F with a lower price, you make a deal.

I bought i5 13400f on November 8th I was kinda sad that i5 14400f is going to be announced in January with same price and more performance but lol i5 i5 13400f actually is same and uses less power so happy with my purchase

Thanks, I'm considering buying a computer with an i5 14400F, especially cool that Bannerlord is in the tests, because with a large number of units, the processor matters and you can see it in the FPS drops.

Hey can you please test the finals with CPUs similar to these? The game is pretty cpu intensive and I’m curious how much fps the 12400 with ddr5 gets in a match. Thanks!

12400f is really like a hidden gem its like ryzen 5 5600 2024 version and i bet it will still hold up well up in 2026 nowadays its all about gpu anyways 6/12 core is enough to run anything rest is just mediocre single digit performance increase

you can rise the tdp in bios and it can consume even 200 watts, and give more performance

Processor Base Power 65 W Maximum Turbo Power 148 W ...so if the cpu runs at near 3.9 -4.1 GHz means is not near stock base power but torwards turbo ,so need more ....yes you guess it power!!!

Одинаковые процы. Разница у них в приделах погрешности. С учетом того что Амд с Х, а Интел без К. Но Амд проц дешевле. Соответственно его брать и надо - выгода.

толку? вероятнее всего с момента выпуска 12 линейки все 2 последующие развивались только по эффективным ядрам, нужно смотреть разницу в другом направлении.

Could you repeat these tests, but next time use a GPU that most people are likely to pair with either of these CPUs. Say within the range of a 4060 ti to perhaps a 4070 ti...

Как я понял если переплачивать то строго за 14600k Но при этом нужно материнку брать z790 которая стоит 25к вместо обычной b760 за 10 и при этом уверенная сборка на будущее под 4090😅

если не разгонять процессор, то и b760 достаточно. Разгон памяти больше прироста даст, чем повышение частоты ядер.

Справедливости ради, чтобы сравнить производительность процессоров, настройки графики нужно ставить минимальные. А тут получается тест 4090 vs 4090 с разными процессорами...

I can't believe 12400 can run well with rtx 4090. I have i5 12400+RTX 4070 super and i feel alot bottleneck :/

And it's at low 1080p res. Any higher res further reduces differences between 12400 and higher cpus.

@@Extresh it is a cpu comparison so we have to pair highest performance gpu with it so there is a bottleneck and we can truly see the cpu's performance and not the gpu's. As we go down on gpu, the bottleneck decreases and we are gpu limited, we don't want that. For instance, if we pair a rtx 4060 with 12400 and 14900k, the results would be similar but we know that both CPUs have massive performance differences so we pair the lord rtx 4090 to create a bottleneck

If you feel a lot of bottleneck try playing at 1440p ultra that will increase the load on your gpu and not the cpu Also avoid using any sort of upscaling

У вас проц не на всю работает. Частоту режет почти на 1 ггц. Поэтому они на равных в тестах и идут. У меня частоту в 4 ггц берет и 10400. 14400 должен 4.7 ггц брать даже на воздушке, не говоря уже о водянке.
