How would you differentiate (if you would say they are different) the digital factory and smart factory in short?

Love your work, but as a Mechanical Engineer who has worked on computer automation for 30+ years. With due respect....people doing the MES with paper being more expensive and error prone than computers/software? Depends on the complexity of the processes, volume, expense of the software/equipment and the people. For simple, well established processes of high volume production in a company of over 100 people...digital factory 4.0 makes sense. For complicated, dynamic processes of low volume production in a company less than 100 people? Automation and factory 4.0 does not make sense in my opinion. I would be careful not to over promise.
