Күн бұрынThe 1.4 update brings USB MIDI and some other new tricks to the Intellijel Metropolix. We'll explore these features and more in Ableton Live 11.
The MIDI functions are in no way limited to Ableton Live, you can connect the Metropolix to any Class Compliant USB MIDI host and any software that supports MIDI. This include iPad/iPhone apps, Windows/Mac software, as well as standalone hardware like Monome Norns, Modern MPCs, etc.

I think: "holy shit" is in order. Well done guys, this is brilliant. Imagine using this as note-signal source, then use the Bitwig note manipulator modules downstream in the chain. Power overwhelming!

I finally ordered mine last week (May 2023) after watching videos on it since its release. It's in South Korean customs department now, so as soon as it's cleared then it's a 1 day delivery. I'm really excited to finally try it out. I'll definitely be adding the Gx/Qx expander and USB Midi expander. I'll concentrate on it in the modular rack to start, but when I feel like experimenting, it will be interesting to send a midi sequence to Ableton and see what I can do with the same sequence between modular and DAW, and see the differences I can come up with. Counting down the hours.

Fuck Yes!!! Never been a fanboy (man) of anything but the Metropolix, there is nothing like it and I’ve tried them all… ALL!!! Modular, iOS, Desktop. None of them have that special sauce and jam-ability. I’m running a hybrid setup now where I need my Trix to send receive midi because I’ve aborted all modular except for my Trix. I was looking at expensive modules just to do this but thankfully all I need now is a micro usb cable and the clouds will part and the angels will tickle my face with their magical wings and I will weep with joy and muthafuckin praise!!! Thank you!! …fanman.

I wonder what you guys all set for the Midi Clock Delay in Ableton because for me it is about 50ms which I feel is rather high (maybe too high?) And another weird thing is, that the value also seems to change sometimes. It varies between 30 and 70 I'd say. Otherwise love, love, love my Metropolix

Could we control Metropolix' settings with midi? It says in the manual, "MIDI is transmitted to/from Metropolix"

Great update, the workflow seems to be a bit sketchy (seeing this by an Intellijel employee) - the expander v2 could be awesome if it has a trs midi port

Still though only 2 tracks ? Hmm think guys think, expensive for what it does, why not an 8 track? It's not rocket science. Good video cheers

This is on purpose. You should see it as a 1 track sequencer, the second is like an additional extension (similar the 8 mod lanes). But it‘s a hell lot of fun, probably the greatest for short eurorack sequencing.
