On the tie rod ends I measure as you do and also count the number if turns when taking off. Gets me close. Also good to know the jack stands are ok.

need a "pickle fork" (aka ball joint fork) to separate the tie rod end from the arms - easier then pounding and especially useful when you need to re-use the tie rod end (aka replacing other front end parts)

You could count the turns that it takes to get it out that will get you really close anuff to get it to alinemunt shop as well

Make the boss buy you some coveralls.

Tierod ends that measurement should be really close their probably won't be much alignment needed. Great job Larry.

Larry When ever you get the Black pony back up after all the work you did on it, it should be a good running truck, also I think the video before this one you had said the boss had talked to a realtor about some property that already had a shop on it with 6 bays would be funny if it turned out to be the property where ADL shared but couldn’t do any work on your equipment there unless that company did the work Take care hopefully you are staying safe

You and the boss should go out and buy some heavy duty tools for the shop since you work on trucks. Doing front work on them can be hard without the proper tools for trucks.Big floor jack would help.

Its called a drag link arm . And the others are called trackrod ends . 🇬🇧🇬🇧
