Squire Fridell, who appeared in a ton of Toyota commercials. He was also Ronald McDonald for a number of years in the 80s and very early 90s.

He played mr easy for toyota for more than a decade.of course after scout was put out to pasture in 1980.

Scout was a grand prize for a 4WD vehicle. They were pricey. Sorry that such a fine line of trucks had to die😢😢

This is the only 70s SUV that has not made a comeback. Sadly, VW owns International now.

VW is making it into a Luxury All Electric one. 2024 or something. So, there never will be an actual real Scout ever made again.
