Yet another car commercial back when unknown actors have to get their start. You wouldn't believe some of the A list actors that wouldn't even think of doing these commercials but did to get their face on camera early in their career.

Back when a Wendy's sold the burger that made Wendy's famous. The old fashion thick burger. Not the thin wiimpy measly burger they excrete for the undervalued, unappreciated, taken for granted American customer. I guess that's why the stores were FULL of customers in this commercial and totally empty today. Keep serving junk Wendy's.

Those aren’t just bell bottoms…those are cathedral bell bottoms.

This lady must be experiencing double misery. Not only is all the pollen of springtime making her nose go crazy with endless sniffles and sneezes, she also must feel bad about ruining a special time with her man. That is one of the worst parts of hayfever - not only does it make you miserable, but trying to be around other people who don't have allergies is tough too. Having to explain allergies to people who think you might be contagious is necessary, but gets annoying quickly. At least she didn't sneeze all over him when things were about to get passionate.

All I know is if Burl Ives vouches for a product. It is good enough for me.

I was an adult when this commercial ran and I immediately noticed that Punchy said “you TASTE 7 kinds of fruit”, which technically is true. Of course you’re tasting only a tiny amount of these fruit, which is overwhelmed by 90% sugar and corn syrup.

We watch this every year. Song makes me depressed lol.

It was very unusual for a car , but AMC did take a shot when gm had the Vega, Monza, and Chrysler was very deep into crickets and Plymouth arrows. I had 1 new domestic car and the Dodge Shadow was very disappointing. Now a drive a vw Jetta. A way better car.

Anyone remember when there were places that had huge slot car tracks you could race your home built slot car at? You could buy all kinds of upgrades for them! Still remember the way those slicks and motors smelled when they got hot.
