So here comes the 2nd episode of our trip from India to Istanbul. In this episode, we will explain everything, what to do and what not to do and we will share some tips on International travel and how to get your money converted (forex).
Our journey started from IGI Airport, Delhi, India, and then we had a transit at Sharjah where we rushed to catch our flight and then from Sharjah to Istanbul. In Istanbul, we bought a SIM card Turkcell, and we got our dollar converted to Liras, we learned that do not get your Forex inside the airport always get it from outside the airport. Always carry an international travel card so that you can manage initial transactions without cash. We also boarded a bus from the airport instead of a taxi, so that we can save some money. So you can also do that, always take some guidance from localite (be careful as some might try to cheat you).
And before travel do good research, so that you know basics of what to do and how to do.

What did you do for your cash needs in Turkey? Especially in Cappadocia where I don't think there will be many money exchange facilities.

I saw u was carrying blue shoulder bag, it wass carry on bag or main luggage? As it has more height...i also want purchase , but bit confused about size and wheather will they allow as carry on luggage?

This is a decathlon backpack 60L in capacity. We take it on each and every trip. If you have checkin luggage included then this is accepted as checkin bag and if you have only hand luggage then keep it within weight limits and use it as hand baggage.

How much time did it take to get out of turkey airport and get luggage? As we are planning to catch a local flight at 2.30am from ist airport after landing at 10.30am

Hi..Is there a requirement of RT-PCR test now also if someone travel in May? There are two International airports in Istanbul very near to each other..one is Main Istanbul airport and second is Sahiba Gocken airport..you guys landed on which airport? Just a suggestion, please put name or subtitles in english for the places..it will be easier for viewers to google that exact place.. Thanks for the series.

thanks for the feedback. we have started incorporating the same :) Yes, you need RT-PCR, we landed at IST (main airport, on the European side). SAW is on the Asian side and a bit far from the city center.

No VPN required. You can purchase a sim card from Turkey and can access internet, whatsapp and all stuff

You will spot yellow taxis all around, they run with meters. Ola Uber are prohibited in Turkey.

Thank you :) I had another quick question, what time buffer would you suggest after arriving in Istanbul to book the next flight? I'm arriving around 1PM and then taking a flight to Bodrum which is around 4-5 PM. Will the immigration and other processes complete in a couple of hours? Would like your suggestion here. The airport in instanbul I'm landing is SAW.

Declare karne ki aisi jarurat nahi hai.. but your account statement should show that you are self dependent.. try to keep close to 1 lakh in your account for visa processing and we took 1000 USD with us as cash and travel card main bhi kuch paise daale the.. baki depend karta hai apka kharcha ka kya plan h

@@VeggieWander Asking for a clarification, I checked the Turkcell website and plans for 20-25Gbs are around 120-150 Turkish Liras, but in the video you said it's 430 Liras, that's a huge difference!
