It's honestly the wording of the videos that garners the hate for it more than likely. I mean some people will just give you shit because it's a V6, period. You're always going to have those guys in the scene. But calling it a GT500 V6 just because of the blower makes it seem click baity trying to get people to tune in and then it's like oh it's just a supercharger on a V6.

@@AntChiulli-Chiulli_RS to a degree yeah, but it's a different V8 then what comes in the GTs. Just supercharging a V8 doesn't make it a Shelby. If you supercharged a 5.0 you wouldn't call it a GT500 V8. You would call it a supercharged V8 lol.

@@hxclambfan i know there’s more that goes into it like suspension and brakes and tuning etc but yes you are correct in the fact i wouldn’t call my 2023 3LT v6 rs with the npp exhaust camaro a zl1 just bc i supercharge it but to a degree it’s a baby zl1 concept

Boosted Luckey's 3.6 challenger pissed a lot of people off. It's usually the "buh it not v8" guys. I imagine this will piss even more people off because he's using gt500 parts 😂

Yeah DOHC and variable valve timing on all 4 cams really helps. The Coyote (5.0) and Cyclone (3.7) are really impressive engines technology wise. Where most engines only reach 80% volumetric efficiency the coyote is reaching 100-110% ve, it's effectively achieving naturally aspirated "boost". As much as I love Chrysler and GM I gotta admit Ford is absolutely killing it right now with cheap, high potential power plants

I’ve heard/seen that the pro chargers for the 3.7 aren’t really worth it… but I also haven’t really looked into it recently. all three kids will have their own unique issues but I recommend turbo and pro charger for easy installation. But turbo will be superior at the end of the day.

Yeah it's intentionally misleading because "supercharged V6" sounds much less appealing lol.

The cyclones is a coyote just literally two cylinders deleted. It runs the same front plate and rear plate as the coyote and very similar internals just down hp cuz of 2 cylinders. Coyote definitely would’ve been cool but I wanted something different!

You ain't making 1200 wheel with a stock coyote with just a fuel system at least you won't do it long. That is way way above safe limits. 1000 is really pushing it safer limits are more in the 800-900 range or so imo on gen 2 and 3 coyotes and it's gonna cost alot more to swap to one of those vs doing this take off gt500 supercharger. Then the cost of fuel system and boost for the coyote which is gonna be alot more than this gt500 take off blower he did for this car. Not everyone has 20-30k to drop into builds not everyone wants or needs 1200 hp to the wheels that is just a ridiculous amount of power for the street even in today's era. Just because some dudes on KZfaq have these huge power cars don't mean everyone wants or needs that.

You do NOT need heads and cams just to handle boost on a 2v and 3v who told you that bullshit? You can make 500 rwhp with cams and fbo boosted stock bottom end 3v you can do 450 or so without em just boost. To do hundreds more all you need is upgraded rods and pistons like 1200 in mods you can take 700 all day long. To get huge power easier you need heads and cams because the stock stuff doesn't flow that great not because the stock stuff "can't handle boost" there is so much stupid misinformation out there about these older engines it's ridiculous. Why does everyone want everyone to have the same thing? If you don't have a coyote people act like something is wrong with you. How about appreciating a build for what it is. I think it's cool he did something different and he's learning along the way.

These 3.7s can do up to 600 wheel with a turbo on e85 stock long block sealed just like you said. They're pretty impressive for a v6.

If he wound just put gt500 blower swapped it would avoid all this confusion but I think he's trying to be click bait y

@@roddysrides i know i talked to auto mafia racing about it too they don't have an engine management system. everything is readily available for the coyote swaps but I cant find anything on these cyclone engines. Even the ones made for the mazdas i cant find a drop in crate. let me know if you come across anything, Roddy.

@@BlacknRedSN95 I can’t confirm this but I believe a coyote standalone ECU would also work and by running a water the coyote wiring system harnesses to connect to the stock gauges sure work i would think. It would be more expensive to go manual with an MT 82 or you can go with a six or a D auto which would be cheaper!

Dude the 3.7 is pretty capable man idk what you're on about. They can do 500-600 rwhp pretty reliably on stock motor. They are a legit platform especially for a v6. This isn't the worst Ford blower evidently you ain't never heard of the m90 that was on tbird sc you prob didn't even know a tbird sc existed based on your stupid comment. I am a 750 rwhp gen3r 07 gt500 owner and I've had 7 other v8 mustangs with manual transmissions over the years including a Mach 1 and 97 cobra back in the day as well as fox bodies and a 347 stroker 95 gt. The 3.7 engine is legit. Anyone who says otherwise is uneducated. Ford also had the m112 that was on lightnings and terminators this m122 is an upgrade to either of those blowers too so again this ain't ford's worst blower (it's Eatons blower anyways not fords) and it damn sure ain't ford's worst engine. This is a company that had 100 hp 255 cube v8s in the early 80s.

@@midnight347 i had a 89 sc and a 90sc before my 3.7 a magnum powers mpxs wirh matching plenum would shit all over that gt500 blower and fit better.
