Күн бұрынDavid came back by the shop tonight and we added a little boost to his E85 Turbocharged 3.7L V6 Mustang. FIC 1000cc Injectors DW400 Fuel Pump Mafia Tuned NPG Turbo kit.
On E85 we are making 500 rwhp on 10 psi and 605 at 14 psi.

If anyone is surprised by the price of the kit, get a nice used 5th gen Mustang around the $15k ish or below, slap on the Turbo kit and rip the streets. You sir will have a unique and fast car. You'll definitely attract attention at a 5.0 meet once you pop the hood. Trust me

600 is about the limit and it really depends how you treat the car but yes it will live for a while at 600 if you're good to it and you have a decent tune

I mean yes obviously a boosted coyote will be a good race with a boosted v6. The v6 being lighter helps but the v6 guy will also have far less cash invested in his build than the coyote

We suggest staying under 600 rwhp. They tend to live quite a long time even with over 150k on them.

Can the 1000cc injectors handle the flow needed for 91 or 93 if you're not able to run E85 all the time? Tune wise, do you have to upload a different octane tune each time or can you switch on the fly?

Yes 1000cc FIC can handle E85 at over 600 hp. So they easily handle the fuel needed for 93. Also no you have to stop and reload the tune to swap from e85 to 93

@@automafiaracing sounds good! I meant would the 1000cc be too big for 91-93 for idle and low rpm etc due to being able to flow much higher for E85. I would run 91-93 mostly and occasional E85. Once I get a 3.7, will definitely get it boosted and come to you for a tune!

It means nothing has been removed under the intake manifold. The pistons, rods, heads, cams etc are all 100% stock from the factory. otherwise known in the chevy world as SBE (Sealed Bottom End) but they only say that because they always have to replace heads and cams and intake to make power :)

Yes supporting mods will be 1 piece DS. For both s197 and s550. GT clutch upgrade if manual. You might end up wanting half shafts if s550. And of course good tires for. Better traction

Might not be the right place to ask this but would you guys say if I want to keep the same body for my car. So getting a new one is not an option would you say build this in my 3.7 14 or do engine swap for 5.0 or bigger V8 and boost it as well? Just looking for opinions from the community. Thanks all help and opinions are greatly appreciated!

Auto Mafia Racing Because the v6 sounds like dog shit and the coyote engine belongs in that Mustang. Nice power though, but I’d rather take the gap and drive home in a coyote than a v6. Then order a turbo kit for the coyote.

He makes about the same power as a stock trinity in a car that is probably 300-400 lbs lighter possibly more if it has weight reduction of any kind. Nothing out of the ordinary here.
