This webinar for interpreters of all languages was taught by renowned trainer Graciela Zozaya (gracielazozaya.com/). She has over three decades of experience and leadership in community, healthcare and legal interpreting. The first part explored ways that interpreters can serve in primary and secondary schools, and the kinds of terminology that often come up. Then, attendees practiced interpreting from scripts Graciela read for typical school settings, where parents, administrators, teachers, social workers and attorneys gather to negotiate programs for students with special needs. Graciela is a master licensed court interpreter, certified medical interpreter, and ATA-certified translator.
