ആമി കണ്ടു. ഇപ്പോഴേ കണ്ടുള്ളൂ. കമൽ വീണ്ടും തെളിയിച്ചു, താനൊരു സാധാരണക്കാരനാണെന്ന്. ഇടക്കിടെ 'എന്റെ കഥ'യിലെ വരികൾ വായിച്ചു കേട്ടു. കണ്ടതിനേക്കാൾ ഏറെ സുന്ദരിയായിരുന്നു ഞാനറിഞ്ഞ ആമിയും അവരുടെ ചിന്തകളും എഴുത്തുകളും വാക്കുകളുമെല്ലാം. ഭാവനയേതുമില്ലാതെ മത്സരത്തിനു വേണ്ടി കഥ പഠിച്ചു സ്റ്റേജിൽ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന സ്കൂൾ കുട്ടിയുടെ കഥാപ്രസംഗം പോലൊരു സിനിമ. പൊതുബോധത്തിന്റെ തെറ്റിധാരണകൾക്കു കൊടി പിടിക്കാൻ ഒരു ഒരു കലാകാരൻ സാഡിസ്റ്റാവുന്ന ദുരന്ത ചിത്രം; ചിന്താദാരിദ്ര്യം. മാധവിക്കുട്ടിയുടെ എഴുത്തിന് അക്ഷരങ്ങളിലാണു ഭംഗി, അഭ്രപാളിയിലല്ല എന്ന പോലെ, അവർ യഥാർത്ഥ രൂപത്തിലാണു ഭംഗി മഞ്ജു ചേച്ചിയുടെ വേഷപകർച്ചയിലല്ല.
