Pep only managed strong teams. Sir Alex made average teams into champions. St Mirren won 2 promotions in 4 years. He turned Aberdeen into Scottish and European champions, and turned an average Man Utd side into one of the biggest clubs in the world

Pep makes players great young and old. Alex Ferguson is the best manager that's ever lived and also brings kids through and makes older players better. Just remember there's coaching staff who have a huge say in this and top scouts who help bring in the players. The managers don't run everything like the manager games.

listen friends both are greats. undoubtedly Sir Alex was more than a manager he was Mr Man Utd himself. Not only the manager, he was mentor to the players as well as the coaching staff, he was a top scout, he was heavily involved in decisions right from improvement of the training ground facilities/stadium development and other executive decisions. I once read in a guardian article that once SAF retired, man utd was bound to struggle because there was no blueprint/planning for the days ahead. There was no documented strategy how the team will go forward, because the blueprint was SAF brain and itself was admitted by manutd hierarchy. Pep is an outsatnding manager may be the best of this era, but SAF was greater because he himself was the embodiment of club.

Maybe Barcelona because he was a player for them, but he left them. If SAF left United after '99 treble, maybe he won't be remembered as he is now. He stayed to built a fortress and made that connections with the fans and the players. He is Manchester United and Manchester United is him. That is what Pep isn't. 12 years of coaching 30 trophies, created the best team in the history, highest winning rate by far: 2.38 points per game throughout his entire career. As a reference, Mourinho’s best winning rates happened at Madrid and Chelsea where it was 2.30 and 2.20. So for 12 fu.king years he has better winning rate than Mourinho s peak with those monster teams that were Chelsea first spell and Real Madrid. lol you can talk about stats all you want, but you have to look at the context. Sir Alex re-built Aberdeen and United from the ground up (from mid table and lower table team to a dynasty by himself). Sir Alex made his youth academy players into big time winners - they had never won big trophies before Sir Alex. Pep on the other hand inherited Puyol Xavi Iniesta Messi Marquez Valdes Eto'o in 2008 and by that time these 7 players already won the UCL in 2006, so they were already elite winners. Sir Alex also won his 2 UCLs cleanly. Pep on the other hand needed the refs to help him win the UCL in 2009 and 2011. Pep also inherited treble winning Bayern and could NOT take them to a UCL Final. Sir Alex won the European Cup Winners Cup with Aberdeen defeating Real Madrid in the final. Real have not lost a European Cup final since that date (a record that stands 40 years). That is Sir Alex for you.

So I'm sure if Sir Alex were younger and got to face Pep more often, he'd have adapted his tactics to Pep's tactics and would have beaten Pep. Nope the best football is played by old Brazil the best team I have seen in my life is Brazil 02 so no pep plays good football, a dutch football philosophy, but saying he better than fergie when he never built a team like Fergie did so many times you can't compare. fergie is better but not like the best, Brazil! the English invented it the Brazilians perfected it

Phill Bozz Fraud: “wrongful deception intended to result in financial or personal gain.” If man city are innocent why are they paying a 10m fine, if city are so innocent why is pep trying to say united spend to much when asked a question about city... he’s the definition of a fraud, an average manager, worse player, he needs 300 million alone to win the league and more to win the CL, hasn’t won anything off his own back in over a decade

Bro cmon man youre not even making sense. Im a United fan but Pep Guardiola is the greatest manager in the world. How has he been a cheque book manager when he used the youth of Barcelona and players they already had aswell as a few additions to win everything he won while he was there?? Every club spends money youre just following bandwagons. Bayern arent a team that spend a major amount of money on players either and Pep didnt spend alot there but he still got the team playing his own brand of football and winning. Everybody wrote him off when he came to City saying his style wouldnt work and boy hes shut everybody up. The club have invested in him and brought players but they needed a clear out and money doesnt buy success to an extent (trust me us United fans know) and hes improved every single player there to a high standard. Stop discrediting him for bullshit reasons mate. Money doesnt guarentee you the league and thats FACTS! You need a great manager to make it happen and its as simple as that

Yeah like breaking ffp rules etc come on be serious he has always been backed by millions..either that or barca players who had already won euro 2008 so they were getting into their peaks...and for bayern..do not even get me started...lewandowski and gotze and etc..bayern always buy the best players in germany..so they should really win league every time...as for man city, well the first time he did not win so he kept spending and spending..the 60 mil guy mahrez is not even playing regularly...league is all about the depth if the squad..trust me, city will keep spending big until they win ucl...they bloody have ruined football world along with psg

@@DBoyJR187 Pep has only managed teams at the "top of the tree" and not taken a lesser team to success like Ferguson did at Aberdeen and Mourinho did at Porto or indeed Klopp at Mainz and Dortmund. This is not to say that Pep is not a great coach but managing Barcelona with Messi, Xavi and Iniesta and then Bayern Munich who win 5 out of every 6 Bundesliga titles and then Man City with limitless resources is not the same as Neil Warnock achieving half a dozen promotions with unfashionable clubs. There will always be this question mark over his abilities.
