Born and raised in the SGV in the 80s and being a teenager in the 90s, I still say the same shit til this day….we are lucky to be alive. The young bloods will never know what it was like during that era and hopefully it stays that way.

I recently saw Marvelous on another channel and was impressed with his story but primarily his intelligence. Down ass Vato and really enjoy listening to his interviews, takes me back to darker times in my life snd although I’m older then him I come from a time when Chicanos lacked the courage to show themselves as vulnerable. I respect that in a man especially one that doesn’t use his childhood as a crutch Although childhood does serve as the future diagram or architecture of what’s to come.
