On the eve of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 Final, we had a wee sit down chat with RTE legend Marty Whelan who is of course the commentator for the Irish Broadcaster.
In this entertaining and informative interview, Marty shares the many moments he has experienced since his first time working at the contest in 1987 in Brussels.
In keeping with the theme of this years contest, I asked him what two Irish eurovision songs from the past would feature in his own postcard as well as his thoughts on Bambie Thug and the fantastic moment Ireland qualified for the Final; the first time in 6 years.
