This is our reaction to the best tv show ever made.
"But isn't this a channel about hating on stuff, not watching stuff you like!?"
Real ones know AMC really hates promoting IWTV. This is our favourite show so we are joining forces with the online community and promoting it ourselves. This reaction is us hating on AMC.
This is our reaction to the best tv show ever made.
It has been such a journey and we truly appreciate all the people who worked on this on and off camera. All the interview with the vampire fans who promoted this with all of their devotion on social media. We let the tale seduce us and we were all truly rewarded.
Going back to being haters, next up is house of the dragon season 2 (I still think they should have just called it house of dragons....)

This show is easily one of the best shows that came out in the past decade. We need to get as many people to watch the show as possible. I wonder if it is because the show is gay-focused and anti-LgBTQ is on the rise in America and that is why it is not getting the viewership it deserves. This is only the end of the first book, there are so many characters and stories that still need to be told. I hear they are going to start shooting season 3 in the fall, hopefully, we will get to continue the adventure sometime next year!!! :)

I truly blame AMC marketing. I don't understand their strategy, it's like they don't want to promote it at all. It did receive quite some hate on rotten tomatoes because people had an attachment to the movie and didn't like the "changes". I think it would have been better received had they toned down the lgbtq and made Louis white BUT the way the story evolved by changing Louis' race was chef's kiss phenomenal. They elevated the story in so many ways I could have never thought possible from reading the books alone. The writers deserve all the accolades.

@@thehaterreview You are right the writers deserve all the flowers! You can tell they are hardcore Anne Rice fans and they know what they are doing. I absolutely love the changes that they have made to the show. Anne Rice would be so proud. For now, I'm so curious to know which actress they will choose for Akasha:)

No. It is basically how the market is advertised. But word of mouth has helped considerably. Now the show has gotten a Season 3 focusing on Book 2 Ann Rice's The Vampire Lestat. It will be shooting in the fall of this year. This is Glamrock Lestat with his own point of view of events. We're introduced to new characters such as Gabrielle de Lioncourt, Magnus, Marius de Romanus, Nicholas, and Those Who Must Be Kept.

Louis being an absolute badass is exactly what Lestat saw in him from the start, and what he wanted him to be 'unapologetically'.

He really did support all of Louis' shenanigans. He loved watching him do things and just being involved. Such a cutie

I think that one line where Armand says that they'll 'have Daniel saying what happened next in no time' is a little confusing. I think it's not, "We'll have him saying what happened next in no time", but "We'll have him saying 'what happened next?' in no time." In other words, though Daniel appears jaded and combative, Armand believed he was just as curious (and maybe even naive) as his younger self from San Fransisco, and that, eventually, they would get him to shut up and just listen to the story (and trust whatever he was told). Which does happen in the next episode when Louis ridicules him for having been turned down by Alice. Daniel, a bit broken, then asks, "What happened next?" I do think they intended to drink from Daniel in the end. But I think Louis and Armand had different intentions - I think Louis wanted to turn him and Armand wanted to drain him. He only changed his mind after Louis left him. So he did not technically /hurt/ Daniel, incurring Louis' wrath, but he did curse him with vampirism, which I believe Daniel had alluded that he wasn't interested in, at this stage of his life.

Agree with your interpretation of that. I also think that Louis and Armand had planned on either draining Daniel or turning him after the interview. Maybe each had a different intention. After the interview, Armand and Louis asked Daniel to join them for dinner, and Louis adds that they had something special for him at the dinner. It sounded kinda ominous to me. Remember, Raglan James told Daniel that four people had previously tried to interview them and that all of them were either dead or undead. Maybe that's what they had planned for Daniel? That may have been part of the reason Louis tells Armand that he's not to touch Daniel after Louis blows up on him. Yes, it can be interpreted as protecting Daniel because Armand would be angry at him for exposing his lies, but it can also be interpreted as Louis telling Armand that whatever they had planned for Daniel was off, and Daniel was not to be either drained or turned as originally intended. Could have been a combination of both.
