Tuhon Saadiq Muhammad hails from the East Coast in Baltimore, Maryland. After being introduced to the Filipino Martial Arts by his roommate while in the Air Force, Tuhon Saadiq decided to venture into finding out more about FMA, which led him to Pekiti Tirsia Kali. As a growing martial artist, he continues to learn other systems.

Totally agree. As from personal experience, everything gets stiffer and tighter as we're getting older. Finding myself having to stretch and warm up more often before doing anything rigorous. Not like in our 20's where we can just go at any moment.

@@FMAPulsewhere are people like this in the Midwest. My teacher was taught under Guro Raffy Pambuan but my lessons are still undiscipline but evolving.. Mas salaama..

Foot work is the horse that carries you into battle. Lesson learned from Tuhon Saadiq. Tuhon is an excellent teacher. So full of knowledge and wisdom.

Agreed, and it will keep you up when you get older. Can't reverse the aging process, all we can do is do delay slightly. Horse stance is a love/hate releationship, but beneficial in the long run.

Lol that's kinda how I was taught. My uncle's were in the military and they were monsters. At least according to the family. I was born at the start of 70s Ambidextrous and smaller than the rest of my family growing up in Chicago. Yet fighting wasn't a problem for me because I was ambidextrous. The problem was they couldn't take a beating from someone they assumed they should dominate so violence escalated. So my uncle's pulled me into training. Simultaneously the most brutal yet amazing time in my young life. Good times

Cool. I attended a seminar of Tuhon Leo Gaje back in 1984, New York City. My background is Karate but I really liked this seminar what little knowledge I could grasp at that one. I still have the T-shirt.

This guys mental is on a different level , his philosophy of the art and the understanding of the relationship between humans whether they happend to be teaching or learning is on point. I oftern say "chicken noodle soup." At a certain point in training because until someone brings the bowl , the water , the noodles we cant eat , we eat when we all learn . . @FMAPulse honestly it would be an honor to train under either one of them the reason I asked is because I'm a resident of the City of New York so if there's a training facility in New York City I'll sign up right away.
