This video is 100% accurate. Interviewer saw I had worked at Lowe's and immediately started onboarding for a seasonal position. I overslept my first day, didn't matter to them. They wanted me back permanently at the end of the season I maybe sat in orientation for 10 minutes before a sup barged in and told me to report to my work area. Warehouses are WILD.

Accurate even across the pond in Britain. I went for my "interview", dressed up in interview clothes and there were two other guys just in tracksuits who obviously knew something I didn't. The only missing detail was an "exam" type thing which they gave you the answers for and then you started ASAP. Criminal checks here are called "DBS checks" (dunno what it stands for) and they didn't even ask for them. That didn't even cross my mind until I'd worked there for a bit, spent a day unloading trucks with a guy from Hungary who'd been there for a while and who pointed out that they don't bother with criminal checks because the workforce is basically expendable - people come and go, some people leave after half a day due to the stress and the lack of respect, and they will take anyone who is willing to work horrible hours and be treated like dirt, and if you have a criminal record that is semi-serious, it is very hard to find decent work. They know this and they let you know it. I held on for a month just to prove that I could, but I was starting to feel violent urges towards one particular manager within the first week, and this is not a healthy working environment for any person. This is especially true for a big warehouse half full of ex-cons. The only thing that kept them sane was smoking a J on their break - another accurate detail here! One thing I forgot to mention is that they searched us on the way out after every shift. What a f*ckin place. Great sketch.

Anything physically labor intensive requires virtually no skills other than lifting and not dying. It's good for staying in shape but not something you do forever. If you never want to deal with that again you'll have to learn something either technical or learning something involving sales as that's the lowest barrier to entry for higher paying jobs. Both have their pros and cons and eventually you'll learn to do both.

That’s what I love about certain driving jobs. No baby-sitting bosses, there’s nobody but you in that vehicle, your surroundings change, and the only way a boss gets to say anything to you once you leave, is over the phone or on the radio. You are on your own. That’s some funny stuff!

Jobs that hire you with no hesitation are the worst jobs known to man. The pay is lousy as hell and they work you to death.

Yea I worked at Amazon for a month before I got up outta there. They do a background check on u, then u go to orientation at the warehouse, then it’s time to work 😂. It’s not even the work itself that’s the problem (even though it’s still bad) it’s all the little nonsense you can get in trouble for that’s the issue
