The Fight between Goku and Kid Buu on the Kai Planet. Just off the fact that almost every DBZ villain had to give a monologue but kid Buu was no talk all smoke.

My best favorite moments, is when Vegeta even though he desires to surpass Goku and tries to be even better than him and trying to destroying him, only to realize that as long as Goku was willing to go over, the more of a mega-badass Vegeta is, and that's how you make a better character in any form of animation. My least favorite is the Zamasu parts in DBS regarding the whole GOKU Black situation. I only mentioned this because Tyrone Magnus (shout-out to him) said that he hated Goku Black, because of how he was designed poorly and his snooty attitude. He was intrigued of the idea of Goku going rogue and becoming Goku Black, but the way it was executed, it doesn't suit well for him.

You have no idea how much Akira and Dragonball meant to me. I arrived in Canada when I was 5 years old. I did not speak a single word of English, and I had very strict immigrant parents who did not allow me to do certain North American kids do, like sleepovers, etc. I was never one of the cool kids, but every single kid in school watched Dragonball Z. That is what connected me to some of my first ever friends in Canada. We had something in common, we had discussions, and it broke the ice in many conversations. "hey did you see last nights episode of Dragonball Z?" and boom, conversation starts. I also had a hard time speaking English. One of my first ever games was Chrono Trigger, and the game had text and no voice acting. Reading the text actually helped me learn English. Honestly Akira, thank you so much for everything. I do not know where I would be today without you.

One of my favorite memories of being a fan as a kid was literally going to my cousins house and seeing a picture he took of himself in the kamehameha pose cut out and put on a piece of paper so he could draw him being Super Saiyan 3 doing a Kamehameha. Honestly the hardest shit I ever saw as a kid.

Back when I was a kid my dad bought me the entire series of dragon ball z and dragon ball gt. We watched them together, I remember drawing trunks, goku and vegeta as super sayians back in elementary. I still play the games to this day, from Budokai 1- Xenoverse2, fighterZ and excited for Sparking Zero

Whether you watched the old Funimation dub or Z Kai, Dragon Ball Z is honestly one of the greatest anime's ever. Thank you Toriyama-sensei for creating the source material for said anime that started with a young kid with a tail going on fun adventures looking for wish granting orbs😢🕊

So fun fact.. during an interview Sean Schemmel stated that during the SSJ3 transformation scene where he had to yell quite a bit. He was in a padded room when doing so, because of the excessive amount of yelling he had to do, he literally passed out from being light headed and just straight hit the floor. This is how much dedication these voice actors put into this amazing franchise.

Not only did future trunks pack up Frieza but his dad to at that point I knew he was going to be one of my favorite characters and also one of my favorite moments was vegeta’s respect speech it really showed just how much he had grown as a character

Everything from the hair to the lightning and yes even the incredibly LONG screaming, I loved every second of it. Watching him turn Majin Buu into a speed bag with the way he was punching him will always be funny to me.

16:56 DBZ was on every weekday on Toonami back in the day. Which was awesome and a curse when we had to wait for new episodes. Rerunning the series from the beginning. I've seen Raditz so many times it hurts.

Rip Akira Toriyama. Thank you for everything. DB wouldn’t be the same without you. My favorite DB/DBZ moments will always be Gohan turning Super sayain 2. As a kid, watching it unfold was fantastic. We wait for a long time for Gohan to be the fighter we all thought he was going to be and when it happened, it was wraps for Cell.

I have so many DBZ moments ill always cherish but if i could name a Few. 1. Vegeta's Speech to goku during their rematch in the Buu saga and his sacrifice 2. Piccolo's series long Mentorship culminating in Gohan pulling off the Special Beam Cannon in Super Hero 3. Goku saying Goodbye to Vegeta at the end of Fusion Reborn 4. The Father Son Kamehameha. Legitimately one of the greatest climaxes in all of Anime 5. Android 17 winning the TOP after Goku and Frieza eliminated Jiren 6. Mr Satan helping save the world 7. Vegeta training with Kid Trunks in the Gravity Chamber. 8. The many forms of Buu and the Spirit Bomb finish,along with Goku wishing for Uub to come back as a good person.

Till this day, I still re-watch episodes from dubbed, subbed, Funimation or Canadian, Movies, games, Hell! even the great dragon ball abridged during my painting hours. The greatest memories I’ve had are mostly surrounded by this fantastic franchise.. Rest in peace Tori, you great legend for bringing my passion and many others into light. For also molding us as small warriors during our troubled childhoods. 😢And I will definitely not stop trying to power up.🐉🧡🟠🙏
