For anyone confused The film is a original take / mish mash of what we love from Dragon Ball. Goku's whole ghost rider thing was actually him turning into Son Wukong (Who Goku is based off of hence the monkey look) Vegeta knew the Kamehameha cuz in the actual Son Wukong story... He could share powers and techniques by touching wrists. (Peep how before the final blast Vegeta got Super Saiyan back and instantly knew to use Goku's move) Lastly peep the audience... Saitama... Akuma... Akira Toriyama and a few others make a cameo.

So for those of you who don't know. Akira Toriyama based the Dragon Ball series off "Journey to the West", a chinese novel that was published in the 16th Century. One of the characters from the story is Sun Wukong, the Monkey King. Goku and Wukong share many similarities including use of a powerful staff that can extend and riding on a cloud. In fact, the kanji reading for the name "Sun Wukong" (Chinese) reads as Son Goku in Japanese. At 9:57 Goku is actually transforming into the form of Sun Wukong. And did anyone else notice the heaven symbol written in the sky at 9:20? The symbol is "Ten" (Japanese word for "Heaven", "Sky", or "Invincible"). It's the same symbol on Akuma's back 3:41. Appropriate they would place it right in the sky as Goku transforms into his Wukong "Savior from Heaven" form.

One of Son Wukong's abilities is to transfer knowledge and skills to others when they touch wrists. That's why Vegeta knew to Kamehameha. Also, when Vegeta tosses his cape to Bulma on the right side of the screen is Saitama. Also, when Krillin says his line Gohan's dragon is sitting behind them.

I do remember that being a basis for the series, and then Toriyama went a space sci-fi route, which was great for the series, since it made the characters who we know about today. This is taking it back closer to Sun Wukong, and honestly, I’m here for it! Goku’s transformation is one of the best takes I’ve seen on it in a long time, and I do wonder if Vegeta is right, if Goku can “refine” it, or if that’s just how he’ll look when he does go Super. I also did notice the symbol in the clouds, but because my understanding of kanji is limited, I didn’t remember what it stood for

From what it sounds like, he’s certainly capable of making an entire series of this, he just didn’t have a budget. If he gets funding, I’m sure he can get it going, and in a decent time frame, where we won’t have to wait 4 years for the next one

Love that you guys reacted to this, but I'm not sure if anyone else realized the lagging in their past few videos? Don't mean to make it a big deal (because sometimes it can be very slight) but just thought it might be something they haven't seen. I'm a huge fan, but the fact that these lags happen kinda pull me (and hopefully others that know what I'm talking about) from the experience of the video. Hopefully this is just a glitch you guys can figure out with your capture card or whatever, just wanted to bring it to your attention. Hopefully you guys figure it out and keep up the dope content!
