So, this is a 2 part series so far. Part 1 had a little bit of controversy when it first came out. There is a lot of animation referencing and tracing from well known anime. The creator eventually owned up to the fact that he sourced animation from well known anime. Fortunately, Part 2 seems to be done mostly from scratch (as far as I know). Regardless, putting all of these animations together to make something this clean is a talent, and this is one of my favorite stick figure fighting animation series.

I love how these videos went from a hobby to get through computer class to people making full blown anime. The level of detail, the more refined animation moments, the choreography, and the homage to the actual stick fighting games?! So good!

People have the creator a lot of undeserved flak for using some choreography from other media. As if he didn’t still have to make the fight flow right, and actually animate the movement. I call it paying homage.

I think why people were mad wasn't because "some' was taken but a lot. Most of the fight i can name where the choreography was from. It's still impressive yes, but they really should have just said that it wasn't original choreography. It wouldn't have taken away from who good it still is today

One thing I never understood is: Why is it taking him so long to take out the red dude tho? Like his clones are an exact copy of him. So if the gold dude took each one of them that fast, why's it taking it so long to beat the red dude? His clones are an EXACT copy of him, so they should last as long as the original Red dude, they're all as strong and durable as he is, but yet the gold dude took them out like they're jelly.
