Btw Dub and Ross, Chicken and Watermelon was the only way black people in the South could support themselves right after slavery by cooking and selling it. So like the owner said, there's history behind it that he's tryin to take back from the negative stereotypes with that name. Southern black folks actually used to call watermelon "freedom fruit" for that symbolism.

Did the white guy tweak by saying all that extra stuff? Hell yeah it was unnecessary 👎🏽 Was he wrong about the problems in the community it’s self? Hell no.🤷🏽‍♂️ Bro with the dreads told yall all the same thing and it’s obvious to see the conflict is within the community, it’s affecting them (black people, us) and everyone else (other races who gotta live there too). I get we wanna be defensive of our people, but it’s not like bro with the dreads said “hell yeah white people be sliding thru here shooting shit up all the time blah blah blah” EVERYONE in that vid made it very clear where the problems are coming from. It’s not a coincidence every inner city on the face of the country is dealing with the same issue yfm it’s a cultural problem mixed with the negative cycles in our communities. Hell, even where I am we’re the only ones killing each other fr

Bruh the one thing that hurt us the most is there is barely any good jobs, most of the people have to move out to survive, and when I say it’s crazy how the weather have caused so many issues. For example when Katrina happened people from different parts of New Orleans speared to different places. So, some were poor, lost their home, and job and was ready to do anything for money.

Whether you agree or not, our sexualities are a mindset. You can say we’re all born whichever way, and if that’s your opinion… Fine. I’m not going to argue with you about it. I will say that you LITERALLY have 0% choice, 0 input, 0 control over what your skin color is when you’re born. It’s a no-contest in that regard. The two are not comparable. Also, to the other guy, they weren’t saying it in a negative way or to spite anyone. A better version of what they were saying (without being in a moment frustration) would be: If you’re in the LGBT community, you can at least control your actions and words around the people that hate you. Some things can go completely unnoticed, but you’re not going to hide your skin color from the people that hate you for that. As I said earlier, apples and oranges.

I am from LA I grew up in the projects there. The city has an murder and homicide rate and drug crime rate of every single day there is one of those pretty much everyone Carrie’s guns for protection in those areas another I could think of would be Queens or Stattin island in New York.
