Viceroy is equal to a President. He took his designation in Shimla, which is the summer capital of India. He led a very good leadership for the Indian people, not for the British. He neutralized standards for every Newspaper, which the English didn’t like. He tried to pass the Ilbert Bill but the officials of the British government disagreed and forced the plan to shut down. So he resigned from his post and got back to England. When he got back all the people of India sent him their Farewell. He won the hearts of the people of India.
