@huepix Yeah, I agree with this... but in his defence, he does have a reputation for being one of the greatest doublers in history, so we can hope he finds form before his next match. If he keeps up his scoring and his doubling returns, I don't really see anyone short of Luke Humphries beating him, which is what it took in the Grand Slam to stop him.

@lukepatterson5367 Pete Griffin only changed darts recently from a 12 to an 18 gramme I think. He can be forgiven for struggling to find the big numbers under pressure because of this situation. He's a good bloke and he'll be back. It's not easy changing equipment and expecting immediate results.

And Ross Smith hasn't threatened to boycott the world championship because he can't handle a bit of booing from fans brought on entirely by the kind of attitude referenced in the above incidents. There's not many players I dislike. But after seeing wade in a few podcasts he really is an asshat. He complains he's not "in the popular club", that, he has himself to blame. I've watched darts since 78, and some excellent players have flaws and major problems in their lives, but they carried on regardless and still won titles or walked away. Wade did neither. Mental health he says........ my wife has suffered from depression / eating disorders for over 30 years and raised our 4 kids, clothed, fed, looked after them whilst putting them first, whilst I worked. He was elevated to a position where he could've had help at the beginning but was late to the party...... I do wish he was less obnoxious and could move on, but no doubt when he loses it will be the same old excuse.....🙄🤦‍♂️
