A relaxing trip into the old spruce forest in the spring. Full of birdsong, and having my coffee by the babbling brook. The snow is retreating. Making a couple of sketches in my drawing pad. Just a very pleasant day in April!

I apologize for being somewhat absent in the comments section. I hope to catch up one day! It's just that time of the year when I spend as much time as I can outdoors in nature. I hope you have the opportunity to do the same! Here I share some of my latest experiences of the spring. So much is happening now with the birds arriving and nature waking up from the long winter sleep. A very pleasant time!

I agree totally Erik. Be outdoors as much as possible. Breathe the fresh spring air, listen to the songs of the birds and watch the amazing awakening after winter. Your peaceful day of walking in nature and picking great spots to sketch is so relaxing.

I love Eric's videos. They always seem to capture the intrinsic beauty of the great outdoors FAR from humanity. Whenever I'm driving, and the people begin to outnumber the trees, I turn around, and go back in the opposite direction. Kindred spirits.

The starkness of the light and shadows colors of the moss and leaves. The sounds of bubbling waterways musical notes from the orchestra of feathered friends. Now that all important sounds of coffee on the brew followed by thumbs up enjoyment. A mere interlude in the life of Erik N as he sketches life through his eyes.
