I still crack up over the whole "I love you, Dad" part, if that was me I would have done it low-key. And if I was one of the kids in the crowd, I would have smiled back at him. I love Miles as Spider-Man, and I can't wait for more of his personal growth and development in Across The Spider-Verse! I can definitely relate to his struggles as I was the same when I was his age. To see a Spider-Man that reminds me of myself, it's like looking into a mirror and seeing everything about me!

I just realised (SPOILERS FOR ATSV) "You wanna end up like your uncle?" And then miles in earth 42 becomes prowler, like uncle aaron. Pretty cool foreshadowing

You see that? We can tell who Miles is and is like based on these small details. We can tell he’s bilingual and is mixed of another ethnic background of of that which shows us and not tells us. Unlike the Ms. Marvel movie that has to tell us point blank i the descriptor the movie that the main protagonist is a Muslim girl. Instead of telling us, give us clues in scenes to let us know and form an idea of who that Ms. Marvel girl is damn it. 🙄

I never care of how old I get, one thing I know is that I would never embarrass my own family member like that. Why say I love you when leaving for school? It’s not like you aren’t going to see your kid again; he’s only gone for 7 hours. I know that Monday through Thursday Miles dorms at the school and on Friday he goes home and spends the weekend at home but still.

Aw come on, it's cute. It's not embarrassing to tell your kid you love them. I've never understood why some kids find this embarrassing. This is a nice thing.
