I really like his idea of writing down all the ways I want others to treat me, and then following that list every day to treat others accordingly. I know I fail at this every day. Even though I "know" what to do it is still nice to have a list to remember.

Amen. ❤️🙏 Glory to God! God is love and whoever says He love God but doesn't love his brother is a liar. Truly, it's easier for us to love those who also love us in return compared to the ones who are difficult to love with. But we are taught to live in love like Jesus-loving and forgiving even our enemies. Moreover, what recompense will we get if we only love those who love us? We are all born and redeemed out of love, hence love is the fundamental source of all things. As it is written, Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. The commandments, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not kill, you shall not steal, you shall not covet, and whatever other commandment there may be are summed up in this saying: You shall love your neighbor as yourself; love does no evil to the neighbor hence love is the fulfilment of the law. It is even furthered, I give you a new commandment: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you should also love one another. This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
