When I think of my life’s troubles, I think that Jesus had troubles too and He paid the ultimate price for me. I don’t like pain, suffering or disappointment, but I’m sure Jesus didn’t either. Together we suffer with Jesus. When I think of things that way, I feel less alone and scared.

"My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, neither faint when thou art rebuked of him, for whom the loves he chastens,"

I know the Lord gives us FREE WILL. To trust or rely on Him is a choice! However, Do you truly want to live your life in a raft boat all by your self when that huge storm is approaching you, no one to hope in or to look after you or care about you or love you? I rather choose to trust in Jesus and allow Him to be in charge of my life. I'm going to get a polyp on my cervix removed at the end of August. I am going to totally trust in the Lord that this will not be cancerous. Even though the DR said it looks slightly irregular in appearance. The Lord knows and sees all. I surrender my life to Jesus, you should to!!

The difference between Christians and others is that we can be weak, sick and fail, but celebrate our weakness as sickliness knowing that god encourages it. Our feeling of moving away from God is ironically what brings us closer to God. Feeling guilty it’s what makes us Christian. My non-Christian friends just don’t have this guilt but I’m afraid to separate from God to not reach heaven so I have no choice but to feel this guilt. I am sure that feeling guilt is really an important part of being a real Christian. Sickliness and guilt brings us together as true Christians. Together and down, but together beneath Him.

People also need to learn that the 'love' of God is not what we think it is. For starters, God loves himself and his work more than he loves us. The millions that are in hell now are there because he loves his own will and justice more than those suffering in hell. The same is to be applied to believers, his own will and glory is more important than our wants and needs. God being NOT a loving caring kind benevolent being to us is all part of the punishments for sin and for his own glory. This is TRUE punishment indeed, that God deliberately becomes cruel and unkind towards us, not for an particular sin that we have committed, hence Jobs words about his on suffering, but the sufferings of the church.
