Oh my god im glad i stumbled upon your channel! Im setting up a natural aquarium with shrimps and scuds, along with myriads of microfaunas. I could stare into the glass for hours out of fascination. You make such quality mini documentary!

I've been trying so hard to find freshwater isopods for my aquarium. These are so fascinating. I suspect it may be due to pollution, but the streams around my home don't appear to contain asellus species, or at least not in any notable quantity. I'll keep searching, though. Thanks for another excellent video.

They are pretty tolerant of pollution, but they don’t like acidic waters or faster flowing streams. If they are present you should find them under stones in the stream bed. @@Lets-scope no worries! There's many youtube tutorials about how you should optimize for the algorithm, you should take a look at them. Your thumbnails are reasonably nice - but you should definitely study the theory of youtube! You can put the narrated phrase in the description.

Haha yes… I am kind of torn though, because I want to make videos for people, not the algorithm. But I’ll look into it, there is definitely room for improvement.

Yes, I call him Dave the narrator😂 it’s a unique voice I made on elevenlabs and a lot of phrase by phrase rerolling.

@@yasemindogan6329 That's what i was going for ;-) But it's a lot of work trying again and again until the result is good. Sometimes even rephrasing when it just doesn't work with certain words. And: you don't have to credit them if you have a paid subscription.
