Awesome video on the JSB Knockouts and FX Hybrids. Thanks for the education on shouldering air rifles. I have an Accu,-22 springer and it was recommended to use the artillery hold for accuracy. I used a bag and a tight hold and it performed well. Thanks

Thank you for the compliment. At least springers use the artillery hold. DAMN pcp's are all over the place with hold sensitivity!? 1 loves to be man handled while the other 1 you own don't like to be touched at all the the 3rd one requires that you bury your cheek on the cheek riser🤣

Same CZ barrel so you should see some accuracy. The only problem i see is that I've tried them at 85 fpe and now 90 fpe so, I don't know their cut off and when they fall off the accuracy dept. Not sure either how much power your gun is making but, like i said, at 85 and 90 fpe, you should see some thumb sized groups at 60 yrds

Absolutely right about that hold, this morning I was checking my zero and why it's hitting 2 the right a little, my uragan 30cal is the same, firmly hold n it was spot on.....those 50g jsb slugs are awesome, when will they be available? I need the power your getting, 903-906 fps I'm getting...I got 4 turkeys,3 wit hades,1 wit Neilson 43g slugs......great information bruh....I like this information
@Tofazfou2 жыл бұрын
Big E! What up brotha!??!? 1st, congrats on the Turkeys.......WOOOO! You should easily be able to bump up your reg to make 90 FPE! I went from 145 bar/85 fpe on my Huma reg to now 150 bar for 90 fpe. These guns are such sweet shooters at these power levels. And I know they can easily get into the 110+ fpe range. Just not necessary IMHO. These are bullpups and not full length rifles. Question for you! how is the accuracy with the 43g NSA? I get damn good accuracy then BOOM, an extreme flyer BUT, i also know why. They are too short of a slug and often don't feed from the magazine 100% true into the lead in. I'm hoping they will be on the next 2 or 3 containers coming into the states. JSB is really good about releasing new product info in January and actually releasing the product for retail in 6-8 month later. Lets keep our fingers crossed. WIth all the Covid and Monkeypox crap, lol, who knows.

Great video Think the hybrids actually expanded more than what you measured, they went over and past the widest dia. Meaning rolled over. I think you could make a valid reasoning for each in this video. Damage plus a little more depth for thinker critters use KO's Ever so slightly bigger channel/damage on critters like the ground squirrels. Don't need much penetration there! Plus you'll get a bigger exit hole and then slightly less worry about what's behind. Just a few comments. Can't wait for the next comparisons. Plus if you turn up the velocity more I'd be interested to see if the hybrids stay stable and if they start to frag?
@Tofazfou2 жыл бұрын
For sure! Glad to see you took the info I presented and came up with more conclusions. Both the slugs have a place. Both of them are really accurate in my Uragan too and so is the NSA fodder. Can't wait to test more ammo in ballistics gel from other makers
@cliffb.24162 жыл бұрын
@@Tofazfou it'll be interesting if you get your hands on both types of H&N slugs too. The normal shallow tip hollow points and the new heavies with the deep cavity. I've had luck with H&N slugs so far. Very accurate in my opinion if you find the right weight/size combo. The blunt tip ones (originals) have a place I think as well. Instant shock and deep penetration, but the new heavies might give the KO's a run for the money. That all being said, I don't think they have them in 30cal. Only smaller calibers so far. Here's a great series. .177 cal slugs and what they can do. Not to many people give .177cal all the love it needs. Thanks again
@Tofazfou2 жыл бұрын
@@cliffb.2416 I for sure will be buying the ZAN slugs and any others that I don't have and will do a video on just accuracy and ballistics gel. As far as the 177 goes, the new generation of slugs have really increased the effectiveness of the 177 into (only in my opinion) the realm of what heavy .22 pellets can do! Not saying that's 100% true but, I am saying, it brings the performance of the 177 caliber much closer to 22 cal. I could talk for days about my .177 and .172 calibers. To be extremely honest, i could sell all my small bore guns and hunt/pest with just my .177s and my .172 cal and be totally content. I have anchored hundreds upon hundreds with my .172 HMaiRs and .177 Vixen and BROD with extreme success shooting slugs. What you get with bigger calibers is more audible thwack, more visual impact and more tissue damage BUT, the end result is always the same between calibers from .172 up to .357...................DEAD ANIMAL...PERIOD!

@numizaairguns13732 жыл бұрын
very good content and that's real if you don't hold very well butt stock on shoulder the shoots are not gives a realy tight group...
@Tofazfou2 жыл бұрын
its very true. While we don't have the recoil of a powder burner, we do have a lot of movement prior to the valve actually opening and pushing the projectile down the bore. And this "PRE PROCESS" is what gives us a lot of movement before and during the actual firing cycle which creats more movement. Hold and trigger consistency is paramount

best is test in a shop with different pellets/slugs at full power setting for that projectile, the brand of a gun ,The price is not the same as accuracy .most it is. but in a cheap gun you can ad a lotharwalther barrel and a good regulator like a huma . if your handy and have tools .or know a metal worker ,to do some lathe work and drilling

The Umarex Gauntlet 2 in .30 also seems like there is potential there.
@Tofazfou2 жыл бұрын
HAHA, OK OK OK, I WON"T😂😂 Seriously, I only own 2 30 calibers. My Uragan and my sons custom built 30 cal BROD which I call the Americana. Take the Americana out because its custom built. I don't think you could go wrong with ANY 30 cal airgun built today. Now, here is where my suggestion get a little tricky, see, I don't like the 30 cal for long range. Its basically what I would call a pistol caliber. Its a short and stumpy little round and not ideal for long range to me. It moves a lot in the wind especially pellets. The 30 IMHO is a short range heavy hitter for a small bore. Can it shoot long range? Sure!? My son has made 3 different 160 yrd head shots with his 30 Americana using NSA ammo. On ground squirrels which heads are no bigger than eggs😮😮 Now, putting myself in your shoes and saying, "DUDE, I WANT A .30 cal FOR LONG RANGE.....PERIOD". I would look at the Uragan, RTI, the VULCAN 3, the affordable KRAL Big Horn .30 from thebestairgun.com, the Caliber Cricket and the LCS SK19. Now, there are others but the price jumps into the $2000+ price range. I would love to own a Daystate one day and would consider them but, they are a little pricey. But their guns are powerful and damn accurate. Get to know your gun, your guns ammo of choice, your scope and any ballistics app and long range shooting with great accuracy becomes very doable. I don't think you could or would go wrong with any of the above mentioned airguns. PS, the only reason why I did not mention AirForce 30 cal airguns is because they are single shot and I know many folks who look into .30 cal and below want something magazine feed and regulated. But make no mistake, they are deadly accurate to with the right tune! Hope this helps...........................
