My grandparents have a horse farm. Those animals may seem cool now. But it is a full time job taking care of all those animals. Feeding day and night, mucking the stalls keep the hay fresh and straw clean , keeping the water troughs full, the list goes on. Good luck.

Hi ya'll 50 Animals, It's a pleasure meeting you all, this looks like such a great ranch and homestead I would love it, I can see why your so excited all the time, I would be too. as someone else mentioned I would just get an ATV they have many options available, a bit pricey but would serve the ranch well. Just a thought.

Dmaxryno Kubota is running realy sweet deals right now. Just make sure you get all the attachments when you buy the tractor. Buying new will be much better then used in the long run. You will have a warranty and write off for you business with small payment. Plus knowing someone did not run the piss out of it. Get one bigger then you think you need

Tractor with PTO, augers capable that'll run pumps gen. on red diesel, and higher octane. 4x4 climate controlled Polaris ranger, dump bed. Maybe off road 6x6 water truck . Retired geo survey or construction. Cheap in LA. Fugitive dust control at bbqs. ( any dust going over fence) . 3/4 permeable works for now. Look around for highway or county, private road overlay and hit em up for grinding without fabric. Ranchers and farms ( smart ones) do it all the time if uts a shorter haul for company, they might provide knockdown grading machine and operator. I did. Stuff is best for covering the snot that'll form on those hard pan roads. That mud flies off all over ranch and in road too. I'd stay away from permeable. Sticks in tires and breaks glass and mirrors. Recycle is cheaper . Stock well. When ya' finish house fab shop.

I know with the fire and stuff but bobcat has a enclosed trackor/side by side that you can get plows, front end bucket, and other attachments for it and with the fire it could help with clean up and fence work.... also it has heat and ac and its 4x4

We used to put some 2 x 6 on and put something ( anything ) for weight and would bust up the dirt and we pulled it with an older 18 horse lawn tractor. So maybe some type of UTV with a cab & AC . My 2 cents worth hope it helps.

Ryno I can’t believe you haven’t thought of a four wheel drive side by side. You can get them with cab and and heat and air. They are used limits universally on farms and ranches! I don’t think your ford single cab is going to fit under those trees to drag the poop will it ? Driving it into the branches will be bad for the truck and the tree! Man the stuff you willingly take on, how do you have enough time to sleep!!!!

Depending upon new or used on the tractor. If you're going new or newish. I would look into the LX series from Kubota. Or the Boomer series from New Holland would be a good option. If you're going older/used The New Holland TD series was also a good smaller tractor. The TD series was made from I think around 2003 to about 2008. Hope this helps!

You should save some of the egg shells and crush them into the chickens food. It gives them more calcium which in turn creates harder egg shells and then better eggs

Isn't there actually a controversy with John Deere and farmers/ranchers? Like I heard John Deere is making it harder and harder for people to work on their vehicles themselves and instead the tractors need to be taken to specialists. It may even be a lawsuit happening?
@BBuford
@BBuford 3 жыл бұрын
GBX that applies for more of your crop farmers with tractors that have complex computer systems. The range of tractors that he’s looking for won’t be effected by that.

I’ve got a 2013 John Deere 5055E that does the job for me. It suites my small farm pretty well as I can mow fields and pick up round bails with ease. Everything is in how it’s maintained. Also, I don’t see why he needs a cab other than just wanting one, in my experience, they get in the way with small operations especially if your getting on and off a lot. Maybe be good if your bush hoggin 10+ acres pretty regularly. Just my two cents.
