Interchangeable battery plates with those 4 screws on the back, please? Would love B-mount, or possibly some 3rd party fully integrated power output modules attached right to the body. Great product overall, I was hesitant to get two VENICE 2's for a feature we have coming up as we were only going to shoot X-OCN LT, and the size and media cost were just a bit too much. This is exactly what our scale of film needs.

My best bet is that the Burano will be a similar, but smaller Venice. Maybe with a brand new s35 sensor as a response to the alexa 35. Internal x-ocn recording, electronic ND, low rolling shutter. Maybe a true successor to the F55?

Three months later Burano 65, or Burano blah blah blah, there's should be a type of recognition to all the people who have invested into the Sony FX9 camera price so they can return it and have a good deal in doing the upgrade paying the rest of the amount for that new camera. This is insane! Please be aware that Sony FX9 PRICE is not cheap! 10,999 DOLLARS! You guys are going to end up out of the market if you keep doing this

Ya existe, se llama a7siii, un sensor 7k full frame 33mpx es híbrido, para foto-video, jamás va a poder cubrir 4k a 60fps en ese cuerpo, sin ventilador y tanta resolución, si tienes a7siii para qué quieres a7iv? A7iv es perfecta tal como es.

An updated 100-400mm is something I hope for in a years time, I always heard that it's a very sharp lens but a few people I know that own the lens are not happy with the sharpness at 400mm wide open, real world shooting with people that own the lens end up pulling out 200-600mm and shooting at 400mm which shocked me, it put me off of buying the current version. Then I know a couple people that love the lens, so I guess I can't say until I test the lens.

A7S lineup is done! Once FX3 came out, that was it. I don't see anymore point in making a future a7Siv or even continue the a7S series anymore.

@@joseqmedina101 Yes they will because they will lose more on expense than make more on profit. Users who owns their a7Siii are not trying to get rid of it not just because of ergonomics from the FX3 but because of the firmware as well. You can bargain down a mint condition used A7Siii to $2,800 usd. Any higher than that, you're better off getting an FX3. Besides that, why would sony even bother to make an future a7Siv? Who would buy it? No one will. All sony has to do is check their sales of the a7siii as of now and if no one buys them anymore, then there is no more point in making a 4th version.

8k or any resolution only gives cropping power, bits gives colours and details, choice is yours you need cropping power or you need decnt resolution with superb colour rendering

So it's a CineAlta series, so it is probably going to be expensive. Shame, as I was hoping for a cheaper fx3 version or fx30ii, not to mention a6900 which either or both of the latter two will probably come sometime within next 6 months. But then again, it will be probably an amazing camera for pro's, unless it is a budget CineAlta camera, cheaper then Venice 2 and 1.

Find better background music Sony. The same string loops over and over, so irritating that I had to mute it after a point. Match music standards with your camera, it is an integral part of your branding videos.

Sony give us a 50 megapixel global shutter, put it in the FX3 body and give us 8.6k oversampled 4k video with 2 CF express type B slot. Give us better screen, like a much better one and bigger and brighter. Improved the XLR-K3m with better preamps and give us 32 bit float, partner up with Rode or something for their revolutionary preamps, or even sound devices. Rework your entire menu system, make it as easy as Blackmagic's or even Arri's, give use all the monitoring tools. Lastly, stop using image processors made for the camera industry, rework and recode your entire firmware and use processors use in smartphones or laptops like Apple M3, give us true computational photography. Imagine being a real estate agent and with 1 click, all your bracket photos immediately gets combined. No longer need to do window pulls. And do whatever it takes to improved the dynamic range, combine your global shutter with your Exmor-T 2 layer transistor pixel. Thank you.

No way. A1 and Burano are in a different league. A1 isn't as capable as Burano in a mid-end production environment.

Another camera that will be neglected with a lack of firmware updates? Bravo. Here is an idea. Forge loyalty to your brand through supporting existing customers so that when you release a camera, and it is time to upgrade, we want yours... OR you can continue to take us for granted and burn it all to the ground.
