I think the Sith is someone completely different than any of our established characters. remember, this is an era where the Sith stays hidden. Maybe Plageus, or the master of Plageus, considering the timeline maybe even their master. Mae reaching for her opponents lightsaber makes me believe her master has instructed her to kill a jedi with their own weapon in order to be considered worthy of wielding a lightsaber of her own. and being the instrument of its own masters demise sounds to me like a good way to start bleeding the kyber crystal.

The Barrash Vow is when a jedi separates themselves from anything to do with the order and focus on the force as a way of doing penance for something bad that happened in their past and as for Vernestra she's an established character in the High Republic books and comics but those take place a hundred years before The Acolyte

Not sure if we can blame what happened on Brendok on the entire order or the council yet. Mae`s lines to Torbin seems to imply that the Jedi Council is not aware of truth or atleast the entire truth on what happened on Brendok.

My theory is that one of the 4 Jedi told Mae to "hit me with all your strength" during unsanctioned training and this caused an accident that burned the village down

The more reactions I watch and the more I think about it, the more I think the most likely candidate for the sith is Qimir. In the way that Palpatine groomed Anakin as a benevolent mentor and manipulated his perspective and hid right under the jedi's noses, Qimir is a helpful peer manipulating her and the Jedi, basically serving up Sol for her to try to kill while seeming to give her up. But when she attacks him for selling her out to the jedi he redirects and pins her to the wall and she looks surprised. Idk it feels like the way a sith lord puts on an act to keep a directing hand on the chess pieces without anyone knowing. No matter who it is, I wonder if we get to know their darth moniker... I wanna know.

The show hasn't exactly blown me away so far, but the story has a lot of intrigue and mystery that has captivated me in a way that the majority of the live-action shows haven't really managed to. All the questions we're getting - Who is the master? What happened in Osha and Mae's past? How does Qimir tie into all of this? - feel really intriguing and have me interested in seeing how the story pans out. And on top of that, I've found myself getting invested in these characters and their relationships in a way that I haven't really been with the other shows (besides Andor, obviously). Depending on how things pan out with the rest of the series, I reckon The Acolyte could potentially end up as one of the strongest Star Wars shows we've had, so fingers crossed they keep up the momentum with the rest of the show

3:14 this was such a cute moment with yall saying Bad Batch together 23:16 interesting theory about Indara. I’ve heard someone theorize a Sol twin as the sith. I wonder if there was a sort of Luke/Kylo situation with Mae and the Jedi. They tried to destroy the evil they foresaw. Enjoyed your reaction.

None of any of this explains the dream encounter between Mae and Osha in the snow cave. I thought Mae initiated it, but she didn't know Osha was alive. Is "HE" mind gaming them both?

Firstly, once again, you should go with 'Gallifrey Pals get Hyper' because Star Wars universe ships use Hyperdrives. I initially thought whatever happened with Mae was something Torbin did alone, but he does say WE thought we were doing the right thing, implying at least some of the others knew. Maybe Torbin accidently did something that made it seem like Mae wouldn't survive... but then why would he be waiting for her?? Need more information. Also, did not recognise Mae's supplier until you said the Good Place, I was like holy crap, it's Jason lol. Great reactions, can't wait for more.

Not sure you noticed, Manny Jacinto's character held off Mae there at the end, and turned her ambush against her. Making a lot of people think there is a lot more to his character than he's letting on. And the fact he was reciting part of the Sith mantra as well. Jason Mendoza a Sith Lord in secret? 😁 Coud he be Plagueis? I don't think he's that Sith, Plagueis could still be earlier with his ability to extend life, as could Palpatine. Qimir's knowledge of 'alchemy' certainly fits though. Don't think they are doing this, but actually think it would be more interesting if Osha is in on the whole plan with her sister. Mae being the direct threat, and Osha being a prong behind the scenes to win trust before betraying them?

At the least he is a fellow Acolyte, like Mae. Are they equals or is he higher or lower its hard to tell. She seems to be doing her own trial I assume to prove herself to her Master. He either already did it, or most likely is lower and is just helping her with info and supplies.

I love the fights in this. Somebody's been watching their Hong Kong kung-fu classics. Those four jedi definitely did some fuck shit. I don't think they did what they thought was right, but what they thought they had to, given a few bad options. Very interested to see what that was. Maybe Sol didn't take direct part in it? But he for sure knows. He "made peace with it" but he knows it was wrong. I hope that "he" is not an actual sith, but something different. Yord is such a rule-follower. I suspect he just thinks that the Jedi Order equals "good" and he hasn't done any deep thinking about what's actually good and bad. Also dude should not have made knight with his obvious anger issues, but the Order makes big mistakes all the time.

Sol did say he learned to be at peace with himself, whatever happened. This reminds me of a martial arts movie of a student training to avenge his family/master/teacher/etc., as it escalates to the finish. If Indara is the one behind everything, I would feel better about CAM seemingly being killed off so soon!
