Just received my 22 Tatula XT 7' M/F spinning rod today and boy... She's a beauty! Especially for $100 shipped to my door in 2-3 days in a tube. Lots of people don't know this but X45/HVF/SVF/X-braiding Bias blank used to come in on $200+ back in the older days. Now you can get them with the basic fuji O-guides and Daiwa's custom fuji reel seat for just $100 shipped which is impossible for other companies to even compete with. It feels like a $200+ rod for sure. The rod weights only 3.75oz- for the 7'M/F. AS LIGHT or lighter than my some of my $150-$350 rods. I can feel every structures in the water using 15lb braided lines. No other company can compete with Daiwa and Shimano if comparing a dollar for a dollar. Just have to wait and feel the 22 Shimano's SLX rods to be available, but again. I'll keep both rods as my to go rods. Just slap on a 2500/3000 Tatula LT/Ballistic LT with braided line and go fishing. Again, don't forget your mosquito repellent! TIGHT LINES!

did you ever get you the shimano slx rod yet and if so how are they? I currently have the tatula and shimano slx in my list and just so happen to read ur comment haha. so far from the reviews i've read, both rods seem to be equally amazing rods

I have the MF the difference is the lure rating you get 1/8-3/4 with MF and 1/8-3/8 with the M. I also have the ML XF great Ned rig rod
