We have about 200 pcs AFHDS 2A receivers in stock, I've read we can use it with the FJR2 + FS-RM003, that's a shame it's not included with the PL18 or built-in... anyway, the question is, the connection of the external module as flysky or any other multi-module will be via PPM or SERIAL? will the range/respond will lack in performance? and how about battery life with the module? thank you

is it possible in the PL18 transmitter to save and transmit the sensor data via USB to Windows PC during flight as plain text , for example GPS coordinates or altitude measures

Can't set a 5 minute timer with engine timer. I use my throttle to start timer and have it set for 5 minutes and counts down. They left that off the motor timer. You have a nice radio here . Great ergonomics. Please give us more power to do things. This radio feels better than the Jumper T16 and better gimbals. To bad it didn't have open TX but if they give us more power with firmware update.This could be my daily flyer. Charger works great. I don't need a removable battery. Usb works great. I like how it fits my small hand. It is thin and feels like quality 6 position rotary knob would be nice. If you haven't held this radio . You need to.

How about setup with helicopters flybarless unit as per Futuba SBus? Futuba SBus protocols working fine with spirit units,but so little info regarding FlySky RX protocols + diagrams...thanks

Hello, I am after a radio to drive my 12ft battleship and all of its functions. The Transmitter looks really good with 18 channels, however where can I get more information on the IBUS setup etc to be able to increase the channels to the full 18 channels....then how this hooks up to normal servos. Apologies, I am a novice in this area.

How do you use the trainer function on the Paladin? I’m trying to figure it out on how will it work with the Flysky FSI6X as student and the Paladin as trainer. I already read the instructions and have the appropriate cable but still it won’t work.

The battery in my PL18 died within a fortnight. Bought through Banggood they danced around and would not supply a replacement battery. These are a special size and tricky to obtain. I am delighted with the TX and recommend it however support through BG is terrible.

Hello again, it's been 4 weeks since I asked about the module for this transmitter so I can connect the R9m and I was just wondering if you had a release date, I know you told me the module should be released shortly, however I was hoping you would know the exact date now. I really do want to purchase this transmitter but unfortunately this is something I can not do until the release of the module base so i can connect up my long range R9m. Any more recent update information you can offer me would be much appreciated, thanks ☺

We dont need so many functions for racing drones. I would like to see a design similar to FRsky X9 lite. Good gimbals great signal and a port for external modules, at an affordable price🚀

Hi. i 've been flying only RC Helicopter and using Futaba radio for 19 years and now, i have the Futaba 18sz, that i overspent $1050 in 2017. But now, i want to get into long range Planes. Unfortunately Futaba doesn't have a LONG RANGE MODUAL. so i am considering selling my futaba and purchasing this FLYSKY PALADIN PL18. i have three questions for you. 1) is the Futaba S-bus receivers compatible with this radio? 2) does the Frysky receiver have build in telemetry. motor speed, battery voltage, altitude, ect, ect, ect?

There are a few drawbacks in my mind to this radio : 1. Limited model memory of only 20 2. Cannot flash radio to own FW such as ersky9x or opentx 3. Need to add an adaptor for JR format modules Its nice to see FlySky having a go at the middle budget market with a very nice radio that has Hall Gimbals etc. - but limiting it at 20 models and so on is a bad move that competitors will exploit. If it at least had an SD card slot to download / upload models to get around the 20 limit would at least help. I honestly think FlySky - you need to go back and rethink this - you have opportunity to create a world beater but this PL18 is not it.

My paladín is going my home. From hobbyking. I have i10 and I use an futaba mz18. Flysky software is more easy and intuitive than futaba. Telemetry is very good and cheap. Paladín now is more quality construccion than i10. and I hope use very much

Will telemetry work on the afhds 2 recievers using the rm oo3 module

If you make a video about the future plans for this TX will be helpful, if crossfire do not work properly Flysky will make their own long range module? 2.4ghz it's not enough for me I don't Flight high I need penetration and reliability to flight low and far. I think flysky should to know this it's a total fail put it out without a low frequency possibility.

Please make it backwards compatible with AFHDS2 receivers. A firmware update maybe. Then I will buy it.

I want a transmitter with this mucu channels but with fucking switch! as the other channels, not knobs and a RX same as the transmitter! No 10ch Rx, where the other 8ch at? I need a dam 12ch tx/rx i need the other 8ch with switches!! Single RX woyld be nice, since i have no idea how to get the other 8ch since the TX is only 10

Needs faster hardware

I will update to this when this is backward capable of supporting ALL my AFHDS RXs the same as what the i10 did on its release. This does not give us a warm and fuzzy that our investment in FlySky technology is protected. And this does include all the original AFHDS chips that you sold that are imbedded in models like the WLToys 911. Especially given you no longer support my 3 i10s with FW updates. As they are TM firmware not US or CN.
