The Glass Cage is a 1955 crime thriller co-produced by Hammer Films and Robert L Lippert, released in the UK by Exclusive Films, and in the US by Lippert as The Glass Tomb. It stars John Ireland and Honor Blackman.

In 2012, I provided a number of filmed introductions for the new official Hammer KZfaq channel, including this one - which was originally posted alongside the film on 18 January 2013. The video hasn't been available for some time and is provided here for education and reference purposes.
I was then serving as Hammer's webmaster and official archivist, and this was among the last projects I worked on for the company.
Its a little ropey, shot on a shoestring with failing equipment, at some point I might revisit this - a decade on and with a heap more broadcasting experience under my belt I'd like to think I could do a better job today.
